JOINT is at #10!

sentiment: extremely happy!!
harmony: "triangle" by Mami Kawada

I just went to the Oricon charts and took a peek in the top 20 Oricon daily charts when suddenly *pooped* my eyes went large as I saw JOINT single in the #10 position!!!! XD I will be more happier if it will stay as it is or get higher in the next few days until next wednesday! If that happens, it will be Mami Kawada's most successful single to date... xD *Kyaaah~* I'm excited!!! I hope what I am thinking will be true! I will be really happy if that happens! =D I mean, hey! JOINT really rocks my socks and it really deserves it's current position right now. xD I hope when this single is in the weekly charts, it'll be higher than Hishoku no Sora (this single peaked at #11 in the Oricon weekly charts).

Cheers for Mami Kawada! xD~

Yet Another Accomplishment

sentiment: addicted! 8D
harmony: "Vacillate" by Mami Kawada

Ah yes! Awhile ago I was able to download Mami Kawada's JOINT single... But let's go back to what happened before I DL'd the said single. I was already successful because I was able to get MOMO's latest eroge song entitled Cherish which is the opening theme for Selen's visual novel (eroge) Shin Ringetsu (Genuine Phosphorous Moon).

But heck, I had the trouble of searching all of my sources but to no avail at first... And so just as I thought, I had to DL it's soundtrack entitled Shin Ringetsu Complete Sound Track somewhere. And it's friggin' 63 MB... x_x But I'm glad it's a bit smaller than JOINT. The song itself is cute and techno~ish yet a little "downbeat" compared to eclipse, the opening theme for the first Ringetsu game performed by Mami Kawada. But with MOMO's cute voice and mellowy voice, I'm loving it. xD Wow come to think of it, it has been a while since she performed a theme song for eroge since I think it was a year ago when she officially left I've Sound and continue her career with P.O.R. But, I'm happy that she had a career again for eroge theme songs...^^

And now, you can listen Cherish from here. It's the long version. ^^,

Cherish.mp3

Ahh... at least my hard work harvested... xD I just like the feeling when my I've Sound collection is continuously growing. xD

JOINT single review

sentiment: *oh sweet joy~*
harmony: "JOINT" by Mami Kawada

JOINT single cover
At last!! I'm early as usual... I already have the JOINT single early. xD Well now, I have to thank minglong for posting it into her nipponsei website. ^_^ you rock! xD

Now getting into the review proper, JOINT is Mami Kawada's 5th maxi single under Geneon Entertainment and produced by I've Sound. The title track was used as the opening theme to the *ehem* anime series used here in my current blog layout, Shakugan no Shana II (Shana of the Burning Eyes) while the B-side triangle is the ending theme. Here's the tracklisting:

  1. JOINT (4:01)
  2. triangle (4:50)
  3. JOINT -instrumental- (4:01)
  4. triangle -instrumental- (4:48)

    Powered by eSnips.com

JOINT, as we all know, is an electronic-rock style. Yes, it's rock indeed but there are still hints of techno in it which is the nature of the songs produced by I've Sound. It's actually cooler and more rocking taste compared to Get my way! which is also rock but has "summery" taste on it. Since it's scheduled to release on halloween, they made the single cover resemble a "gothic" taste (not pure but you can tell on Kawada's clothes). This song was composed by none other than the great Tomoyuki Nakazawa and arranged by him (as well) together with Takeshi Ozaki. If you'll notice in the instrumental parts, there are also some parts there that you'll be familiarized since you heard that specific "sound effect" in one of her songs. Yes, it's from Beehive that's why I specified who did the arrangement since the two (Tomoyuki and Takeshi) were the ones who arranged the Beehive song. Not as "creepy" as they wanted to be (since it's halloween) but the song's pretty cool and I can't wait to see full PV since I think that will be the one who has the connection to the halloween. If you must know, Tomoyuki has a knack for composing great theme songs for horror-genre animes specifically Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Trivia: Tomoyuki was the one who composed Eiko Shimamiya's Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Naraku no Hana which are both sheer masterpiece, IMO). And one thing I'm glad with this song is that it is longer than her previous songs... I was kind of disappointed in the lengths of her songs because I missed listening to 5:00-6:00 songs. xD

triangle is great as well. When I heard the long version, I noticed it has an "inviting" tune which makes the song great. This "inviting" tune that I am saying is heard in the first part of the full version song which is not heard in the TV size that's why I tagged it as "great" now. If you notice, my impression for triangle before was "good" or "not bad" but it changed eventually after hearing the long/full version. xD But the fact that it's "inviting" tune is similar to the first tune that you'll hear from MELL's kicks! song. And the overall tune is still similar to KOTOKO's Sekka no Shinwa which I really like as well. Another thing, I think this song is like, one of Kazuya Takase's greatest composed song of the year. After the turndown (not actually failure) of the views of his current composed songs, I think this one is much more greater compared to Get my way! (since Kazuya was the one who composed this) and to her latest eroge song For our days which will be released next week. I think after hearing this song, my likeness to Kazuya Takase's composition went back to normal.

Trick or treat! Gothic doll Mami is here!!! XDD~

Overall, I think this single will do just great since her vocals, as usual, is powerful. And I never seen Mami as a gothic performer before and I think she can pull the string and perform very well. Another thing is that, Tomoyuki Nakazawa is still the best composer for Mami Kawada's songs (but I'm not saying that Kazuya Takase is not great) since I think they're much closer and majority of Kawada's songs in her SEED album was composed by Tomoyuki. And another point, I think this is one of her best singles ever released after Hishoku no Sora. Well, Akai Namida/Beehive and Get my way! singles are still great but they didn't sold pretty well... I hope this JOINT single will be able to equal or even surpass Hishoku no Sora's Oricon position and become more epic win for all die-hard I've Sound fans!

Gay or Gorgeous?

sentiment: blah blah! xD
harmony: "Chasse (TV size)" by Kaori Utatsuki

"Gay or Gorgeous?" That is the question. xD And now? Take a look here:

Kaori Utatsuki

This is Kaori Utatsuki of I've Sound. She looks young, isn't she? I was really surprised when I first saw her promotional photo (which makes this as the main banner on her website) for Chasse (pronounced as "sha-se"). But don't be fooled by her young face. The same exact thing happened on her previous single Shining stars bless which in her promo photo and single cover, she looks definitely young. But when I saw the PV, O_O;; she looks old.

Right now, I'm really getting addicted (yes addicted) with her Chasse although I'm still listening to its TV size since the single is scheduled to be released on November 21, 2007 which is roughly more or less 4 weeks away. The song is so kawaii... I can't stop listening to it... and it feels so refreshing whenever I hear it. Not much suited as the 3rd ending theme for Hayate no Gotoku! since I can see no drama in the anime series which is the opposite of the storyline of the anime. According to aibublog, Chasse means "drive out" and until now, I can't still depict it's meaning. Oooh Fred_Itachi, if I we're you, you should polish more on your vocabs... -___-

Oh well just wanna share my PoVs, and of course, the listening portion is always around... x

I compressed it to 64kbps and is only 742 kb in size. So what are you waiting for? Click that play button. xD And judge it yourself. xD (Note: I compressed it to only 32kbps a while ago, but the quality was not that satisfying. =_=)

SPAM ATTACK!!! XD

feeling: SPAMMED!! *random nothingness*
harmony: "Cross talk (Mixed up ver.)" by Kaori Utatsuki

kyaahh!! I inherited this "trait" to my imouto-vamp Nikki-chan!! hahaha! I dunno but I just have the urge to point out some random facts that I just noticed -- just now. xD

I just noticed that even how much I love Mami Kawada, KOTOKO's songs overcounts 'em. O,o I mean, I completed Mami Kawada's discography (as in ALL) and I think it's more or less 50 songs. But look at my KOTOKO songs!! O_o (please refer to my multiply playlist) I already have 56 songs online there (excluding instrumentals/karaokes/off vocal versions) and I still have uber many songs to download before I complete her discography! O,o I think she has 200+ songs (300+ with the instrumentals) for I've over all!! Talk about massive songs! It's like I'll have to exert x4 strength to collect them all than I exerted from searching Mami Kawada's songs. O_o Oh well, I'm not really planning to complete her discography because my HD will suffer because of the sizes. O,o

I just noticed that Kaorin (Kaori Utatsuki) has the most least songs in my playlist. Oh well, maybe I'll plan on collecting them when I have more storage disk and when I had the call to like Kaorin more!! XD I like her but not much of a fan.

Shana II Episode 2 & 3 Done!

sentiment: agitated
harmony: "triangle (TV size)" by Mami Kawada

Episode 2:

Is more of a bit funny episode at first because Shana wants to learn cooking from Chigusa (Yuuji's mother). Wanna know why? It's because she's jealous that Kazumi always gives her precious Yuuji a delectable and delicious bento and wanted to equalize her level to Kazumi's. But in the end, it was a big failure. O__O So Shana ended up giving a bento with oozingly, jumbo melon pan inside it while Kazumi still gives Yuuji a great-tasting bento. Now that's too much to eat at one seating but what can Yuuji do? If he doesn't eat Shana's, she'll get mad (and jealous of course). She can't also decline Kazumi Yoshida's uberly delicious bento so he ended up in the clinic having a stomachache.

While the 3 were in the clinic, Tomogara attack! Not a good timing since Yuuji's still in a not-so-good situation. And they we're inside a dream, again... The difference is that in the first episode, Yuuji was the only one experiencing a transient and eternal dream but now, it's the 3 of them! Yes they weren't able to meet Mare yet. The two (Shana and Yuuji) realized that they were inside a "dream" but the problem is, Kazumi!! O_O she's not awake and she have to realize that it's just a dream! She had to wake up or else they'll be trapped. Never mind defeating Mare since she'll be defeated once Kazumi woke up. And it's a good thing she did with the help of Yuuji's calling.

The three of them woke up in their sleep in the infirmary and Yuuji ended up thanking Kazumi for waking up and saving all of them. In the end, Shana settled with Kazumi that she should reduce of the amount of bento by half so that he won't hurt his stomach. But wait, who's this transfer student?! Uuuwwaahhh!! She really looks like the Master Throne Hecate!!! But is she or not? We'll find out next episode. xD

Episode 3:

Entitled The Suspicous Transfer Student. Well if you were to ask me, I was startled as well when I first saw Fumina Konoe (right pic). Because she really looks like Hecate's (left pic) twin sister when you first look at her. Same hair and eye color, same height and not to mention, same seiyuu!!! O_O If it wasn't Mamiko Noto, I would've ignored the fact that it's a possibility that they are the same person. Shana, who seems really suspicious with the character, put up a Fuzetsu to confirm if she really is Hecate, one of the Guze no Tomogara of Bal Masque who used up Yuuji's Reiji Maigo showering off power of existence (Shakugan no Shana I final episodes). But it seems that it's not moving inside the Fuzetsu. So does it really mean Hecate and Fumina Konoe are not related to each other? We'll find out.

What they have in similar is that, they are both quiet and reserve but unexpectedly, Fumina Konoe is a klutz which is very different from Hecate. Taking out all of her books all at once? Not able to change into gym clothes without assistance? Waiting for lunch to be delivered at her? Yes, those are the stupidities that the girl possesses.

Lunch time, Keisaku Satou and Eita Tanaka arrived at school. Late again, as usual. Nice timing, Yuuji and Shana were able to get some help from Margery Daw if Fumina Konoe is really Hecate. Results? Negative, as usual.

Daybreak, Shana commanded Yuji to go home first. Still unrelaxed, she still want to confirm the real identity of Fumina Konoe and at the same time, luring the uberly weak Tomogara named Kasha. Of course, Shana is 10,000 years stronger than the Tomogara but he planned to use Fumina Konoe's power of existence, who is just like a statue at that time. But Yuuji suddenly arrived and tried to stop Kasha. Leaving Shana no choice, she tossed her sword to kill Kasha and Yuuji protected the girl from the impact.

After defeating the Tomogara, they noticed that Fumina Konoe got a minor wound on her arms which means that Fumina Konoe is truly a human being. Hahaha at least that made Shana and Yuuji a bit comfortable. The following morning, she did the same again! She took out all of her book at once! O_O Yuuji, of course, being a gentleman, helped the klutzy girl making Shana and Kazumi very agitated. Does this mean, they have another rival for Yuuji's love!? Hahaha we'll find that out in the next episodes. End of review!!! XD

Memorable I've Sound songs

sentiment: contemplating...
harmony: "Out Flow" by MELL

Now that I think about it, I haven't listed the memorable songs from I've that made me go "inner" into their music production. Of course, every I've Girls (except for SHIHO, Yucco, Reina and the others) have their own distinctive "evoked set" on my heart. For those who don't know the meaning of evoked sets, these are like "choices" or objects that first comes out of your mind whenever you hear or think about someone or something. For example, when you think about toothpaste, more or less, you think of Colgate right? This is an example of an evoked set. Haha! It's so unusual that I apply marketing principles in my posts. O_O Enough babbling, here are the evoked sets for every I've Girls that I've been in touch ever since:

  • KOTOKO -- whenever I hear her name, only one memorable song comes to my mind. Know what it is? Re-sublimity. That's one song that evoked me to favor KOTOKO from every I've Girls at first.
  • Mami Kawada -- what can I say? I'm a bit biased when it comes to Mami. There are two songs that reminds me of her sheer greatness. Hishoku no Sora and IMMORAL. When I first heard of Hishoku no Sora, I didn't think I would get addicted with Mami. That song can't really explain why I really like it but two words: EPIC WIN! While IMMORAL is one of her best dance tracks and it really got my adrenaline addicted for more!
  • MELL -- Red fraction!! I really really love this song. FLY TO THE TOP as well... xD It got me uber genki genki because of its perkyness and denpaness. The latter was considered as the most cutest song that MELL pulled out.
  • Eiko Shimamiya -- I first heard her from the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni anime. She sung the opening theme (same title as the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) with sheer confidence and greatness. At first, I did like her but not as much as my love for KOTOKO and Mami but when I learned that she's the one who recruited Mami into the I've, I learned to appreciate her songs more! O,o Naraku no Hana is also a memorable song. I still can't forget that I've become addicted to this song and kept on repeating this for the nth time already. XD
  • Kaori Utasuki -- hmm Kaorin?? Not really much into her but her Senecio is really cute and it's probably my favorite song from her. I haven't heard the full version of Chasse (her upcoming 2nd single) but I'm having a feeling that I'll like it as well. I got addicted with the TV size that's why! xP
  • MOMO (former I've) -- do I really have to think hard for her? NOO!! Velocity of sound is gotta be her greatest song!! I'm so really in love with this song!! X,x Greedy is also great! I love it to pieces. X)
  • Lia (former I've) -- Tori no Uta!! I can't really say much about this song, this is just so great! Truly a masterpiece!
  • Ayana (former I've) -- verge "Mixed Up NAKAZAWA TOMOYUKI style" is my most fave song from her. I really didn't like Eiko Shimamiya's verge even if it is the original version. Instrumental is superb but vocals, uhmm not really much my type. Last Regrets although it's too slow and downbeat for an opening theme... O_O
  • C.G mix (producer) -- actually, I have no plans of including him. Yes, HIM! Because he's a guy and one of the creators of I've Sound but oh well, he's still does some songs for BL games even if it's just two. xD

*phew* I'm done thank goodness. Wow another lengthy post I have here haha! Oh well just commemorating why did I got addicted with I've Sound. Come to think of it, I'm already a fan for two straight years. XD Can't recall the exact date but it was some time in the autumn 2005.

Sachi Tainaka's 6th single

sentiment: excited!!!
harmony: "disillusion" by Sachi Tainaka

Another single to look forward on this November!! Sachi Tainaka's 6th single entitled Lipstick/Ichiban Boshi (Lipstick/Greatest Star). Honestly, I didn't heard about Sachi Tainaka when she started going on solo last year. Until my imouto-vamp Nikki-chan introduced her to me. And when I heard her disillusion (opening theme for Fate/stay night), I went gaaahhh!!! I like the song and I like her!! PV PV PV!! And then that's the first time I saw her, the promotional video for disillusion! When I saw her, I said "FTW! She's so pretty!!" xD and then I became interested in her songs that's why I downloaded ALL of her singles and her debut album entitled DEAR.... So far, I'm really addicted to her songs aside from the I've Sound. Look at this photo:

Sachi Tainaka's current main banner courtesy of her website

Photo courtesy of her website (screenshot only)

She's gorgeous on this layout. Kinda resembles BoA at first look but she looks very great and pretty! Ahh I could melt just by looking at her face.... xDD~ And now for the single cover of her upcoming single.

Lipstick/Ichiban Boshi single cover

Lipstick/Ichiban Boshi is scheduled for a November 7th release. Lipstick will be used the theme song for the movie Persona. Haven't heard from the movie but I hope it's a good one. Another Double A-side from Sachi Tainaka, I hope this one will garner success since her last single Itoshii Hito e didn't succeed. Actually the said single was her least successful single to date as it only reached #67 in the Oricon charts even lower than her Saikou no Kataomoi single which has only about approximately sold 2,000+ copies. I hope this will do good since if I can recall, her success periods were from the Fate/stay night tie-in singles which are disillusion (1st opening theme) that reached a good #13 in the Oricon charts, and her most successful single to date, her Kirameku wa Namida wa Hoshi ni (2nd opening theme) that reached #9, and her first double A-side Aitai yo./Kimi to no Ashita (with Kimi no Ashita as the final ending theme for Fate/stay night)reached #19.

Preview for lipstick is also available and I ripped it on her website. For those who are using dial-up, no need to worry, this 46-second rip is very small! 64kbps and only 363kb in size. So what are you waiting for? Press that play button and listen!!!

Lipstick is a pop-rockish song with some hints of jazz (because of the trumpets) and IMO, is a bit perky or comedy just like Hitomi Shimatani's Neva Eva. My impressions on this song is that I like it more than her previous single but it's not like I don't like her ballads. I like them but it would be better to perform upbeat songs right? She can perform given the chance and besides, I like her Begin (B-side from her single Itoshii Hito e) which is quite opposite of its A-side and is rockish!! As of now, there is still no preview for Ichiban Boshi but I hope this won't be a ballad or something that will "down" the listeners since Lipstick is a very upbeat song. Light songs with some hints/influence of rock would still be good just like YUI's.

A Good Thing, Indeed

sentiment: relieved
harmony: "See You ~Chiisana Eien~" by KOTOKO & MELL

This is a photo of me and my friend Jenny which was just taken September 29, 2007 outside Glorietta 2, Makati City (in one of the eateries nearby) for the farewell party of our dearest friend Kristina. Photo courtesy of Jenny. Sorry if I have to "steal" the pic, I don't have my own digicam or cellphone with camera (talk about cellphone poorness! =__=). In history, I think this is the second time that I posted a pic here in my blog. But why am I posting this pic? For what reason?

Well it's not just for reminiscing but it resembles good times. Glorietta 2 looks still great outside but have you heard in the news lately that this place exploded 1:30 this afternoon? O__O I haven't updated myself with the latest news but I heard that 8 died in the incident and 93 were wounded. The main cause of the incident is still yet to known for now. It's a good thing, we didn't went there since Jenny and I were planning to meet up there with Nikki-chan. It's a good thing, Jenny scheduled the meeting for next friday for the Sagashi Ateru 2: The Prisoners of Fate meeting. Yes, it's a movie that Jenny's working on. And me and Nikki-chan we're hired as the scriptwriters for the said movie and we're supposed to meet at Glorietta 4 (which is just 2 floors away from Glorietta 2) then transfer to Greenbelt (place next to Glorietta) to talk about something for the movie.

Just when I turned on the TV this afternoon, I can't help but to get shocked with the news. My face went... (O___O;) Then I messaged Jenny on her YM and said that it's a good thing that we didn't meet up today or else... Indeed it was surprising but it's a good thing our meeting was re-scheduled. xD But still, I feel sorry for those who got killed and wounded in the incident...

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Maybe that's the reason why I'm listening to See You right now... I'm still feeling the sorrow for those who got involved in the casualty.

New Layout Finished!

sentiment: happy & delighted
harmony: "Merry Go Round" by Mai Hoshimura

Yaayy!! At last I'm finished with my new layout! And here it is!! A combination of red and black color with the Flame Hazes and Denizens (Guze no Tomogara) facing each other!! xD To date, this is my second Shakugan no Shana layout that I made but the difference of that is, it's just Yuuji and Shana with red as its main color. This might not be the best layout that I made but I worked hard for this specially for the headers... xD it may look simple but it's a bit hard of a work.

I definitely love swirls!! X) that's why I included some in my finishing touches with the layout... hehe... The actual picture of this is a bit rough that's why I have to repair and thought of some brilliant ideas on how to "hide" or "camouflage" those roughness. (1) The hand of the scientist (forgot his name) with the green hair (Denizen's position) is cutted. So I edited and "extended" some of its fingers so that it may look like a real hand. (2) Hecate's hair (Hecate is the one with the blue-green hair, white cap and cape beside Sydonay) is cut as well so I have to "hide" it as well. So I hide it with the navi bar... hehehe... xD That's basically it.

I made this last night but I didn't able to finish it with Dreamweaver last night since it was already 3am and I already need to sleep. Then I edited some parts of the layout again in Photoshop and edited the contents in the Dreamweaver. And then voila! I'm finished!

Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi!

sentiment: just fine (but I'm a bit hungry!)
harmony: "Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi!" by KOTOKO

Sorry if my review was a little late than usual... I was busy with some things so I wasn't able to make a review. And here goes nothing...

Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi! is KOTOKO's 9th maxi single produced by I've Sound under Geneon Entertainment. The title track was used as the 2nd opening theme for the anime series Hayate no Gotoku!. A possible english translation of the title track is "The vicissitudes of life supremacy rule" which means the rule of not giving up even after multiple failures. If you want to listen to the songs, here's a widget:

Powered by eSnips.com

Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi! is a very upbeat song which has a tempo between 160-185 bpm. So fast that it keeps you on the going specially if you're in the highway. A song that has some touches of techno and euro-beat since it's so fast. This is gotta be one of C.G mix's greatest work (he's the one who composed and arranged this song) and it's a very refreshing opener (for an anime). This song, I think, is considered as semi-denpa since it is hyperactive and with some cuteness in KOTOKO's voice in performing this song but not as hyperactive as Princess Bride! and Princess Brave! which are absolutely denpa songs. Probably one of KOTOKO's greatest song this year which is a must-have for any KOTOKO fans like me.

scene, on the other hand, is a bit on the down side. It slowens your mood which is quite opposite to the first song but the song is still good compared to the B-side of her previous single Naki Takattanda. I didn't like Naki Takattanda from the start because I find the song a bit boring and very downbeat plus her voice is not attractive for a ballad because she used a very squeaky voice in singing that song which she only does in her denpa songs. Going back, scene is a pop-rock track which is a bit unusual for KOTOKO and yet her vocals is powerful which makes it a pretty nice track to listen but I'd still prefer the first song.

Overall, I give it a 4/5 since I like Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi! very much nyahaha! A great single -- a must-have for every KOTOKO fans! xD

I've Been Very Generous

sentiment: a bit tired but I'm happy
harmony: "Genesis of Next" by globe

I don't know why but I've been pretty generous with Wikipedia and Gendou these days. I've been putting up new infos for Mami Kawada in Wiki and edited some info for the other I've Sound members specially to KOTOKO. If you'll see her page in wiki, she has already singles chronology just like what I did with Mami. And I created a page for "Love Planet Five" which, I think, deserves to have even if it's just brief description.

For gendou, I've been uploading (donating rather) mp3s much lately since it was requested in the request page by some other users. I can just standby to see and wait if anyone will donate mp3s but my inner conscience won't let me.. xD I don't know the reason why I kept uploading... or is it because I'm earning upload points (currently I already have 24 uploading points)? Nah, I'm just letting myself suffer if I donate mp3s for the sake of uploading points only. And another thing, it has been my SOP to always look the request page of Gendou to see if I can upload something. xD If I find something, grool!! If not, well better luck next time. =D

Lately, I've been keeping myself busy with these things since the forums that I am visiting are like, in hiatus. I mean, not much posts from other members so there's really nothing new to find out so I'm keeping myself busy with other things other than forums. Because to tell you the truth, waiting for the forum/s to have something new, I'll have to wait aeons until someone updated and I so wanted to update in the RP's but what can I do if I'm still the last poster?

Next mission for Wikipedia, I'll create an article for MOMO!! XDXD= I love MOMO as well even if she left the I've Sound a year ago. Her voice rocks! xD

Judging by your cover

sentiment: a bit dismayed
harmony: "philosophy" by MOMO

I know everybody who will read this post can relate very much on this one. Yeah, it's another one of my cheesy posts but what can I do? I want to pull this feeling out and I decided to do this on my blog.

I hate it. I hate it when I am being judged by my outer shell in an instant. I know it's inevitable for anyone of us. The feeling of being betrayed, the feeling of being discriminated -- the aching feeling inside the heart whenever you remember someone "plasticized" you. *kuyashii* In my own point, it's okay to judge me but make sure it won't leak and came to my senses. But no! It came to me and that's what really made me feel broken and scattered.

If you are a male, then your being judged as a "homo", would you be happier? Of course NO! A big NO-NO! Sure I'm a bit effeminate on my actions at least I'm tactful with it and my respect for women is much higher than most guys around. And I have a loud mouth and some hints of girly actions but I am NOT a homo!!! x__X I just act like this but I am not!! I'm going to say this for the nth time. If you know my childhood history, you'd understand why I act like this. It's a long story but if you must know, I'm the youngest of the three siblings -- 2 girls and 1 boy (me) and I grew up without much father figure. My parents tend to be "overprotective" with all of us when we were still young and up to now.

So why I act a bit feminish most of the time? Well that's already natural to me you see. And acting real and natural is my thing. Why act like you're not the real "you"? And I already accepted myself as I am long time ago. I don't know why other people kept on talking about my sexuality. The heck, they didn't even know who I really am that's why they're doubting my masculinity. That's easy for them to say but what if that person has the same problem as I am facing now? Would he/she feel the way that I am feeling right now? I hope so...

I am me, and you are you. I can do something something to change my personally depending on the circumstances but I can't do something to change you. You can only change by yourself with my guidance but still the motivation to change still depends on you. That's it.

Haah~ Now that I let it out, I feel a lot better... To that person who still doubts about my sexuality, thank you for making me feel this frustration and make sure you mind your own sexual and identity beeswax not mine! This is not your life, man, for pitt's sake!

Shakugan no Shana II 1st episode done!

sentiment: unsatisfied!!
harmony: "Lost Shadow" by Mami Kawada

Holy SHHIIIAAATTTT~! I just finished downloading (via Torrent) the first episode of Shakugan no Shana II!!! First episode, it is already action-packed. But I think this episode is some sort of "refresher" episode because 3/4 of the episode is mostly remembrance or reminiscing the past episodes. Not totally reminiscing but because the Guze no Tomogara in the first episode made a spell and Yuuji was like, the time went bizarre and some of the events in the first season is happening again.

At first, I was "bizarred" because how come Friagne is alive again together with his beloved doll Marianne. But I realized afterwards, "Oh it happened in one of the episodes in the first season!" was the only thing that I said. Not only that but the Aizen-cest were alive again. I just hate this dirty twins but if not for them, Yuuji won't be able to wake up from the Tomogara's transient and eternal dream.

And the worst of all, Shana wasn't able to confess her feelings for Yuuji!!! waah!!! I like YuujixShana for life!!! Say no to YuujixKazumi!! Hahaha she should go to Hayato Ike!! or to Khamsin Nbhw but don't touch Yuuji because he is meant for Shana!! *random nothingness* Oh well, as of now, I am really REALLY unsatisfied because I want to watch more of the second season!! but what can I do when it was just aired last week! T__T I'll have to wait for another week to watch the next episode huhu.... T__T I want to watch more MORE and more!! xD I want more YuujixShana!!!

I got LSS'd!

sentiment: strange, I want to sing all over again.
harmony: "Lythrum" by Mami Kawada

This song got me really on the going a while ago!! O__O It's like I wasn't stopping by either humming or singing some parts of the song. Yes, it's still what I am listening to right now. It's Lythrum by none other than Mami Kawada!! =D It's not upbeat for an opening theme of Giboshimai SLG (an H-game of some I-don't-know game creator) but the melody is just so different. It feels like it's letting you fantasize a lot of bittersweet memories with other people. Not really the actual meaning of the song but it's what I felt by listening to the song. Literally, Lythrum is a genus of some flower which I really don't know as well *Yes, blame it to the scientific names and the other related topics* XD.

I don't actually listen to this song multiple times before because the song seems strange and weird and it doesn't have the most WIN elements in which you can find on her other songs. Plus, her singing voice is somewhat different from the usual Mami Kawada song.

I don't know why but I'm beginning to like this song although it's a lonesome song. Right now, I'm downloading it's karaoke version haha! So when the time comes I want to sing the song, I can! *adds to my goodie mp3 collection* It's not the most upbeat song that you can enjoy but I like it. Yes, I'm indeed weird. I already know and accepted that fact. xD

I Hate to Lose!

sentiment: nyaanyaa~
harmony: "verge MIXED UP TOMOYUKI style" by Ayana

Another spam post!! Haha! I missed posting one. xD

It happened yesterday (Saturday), when I went to Alabang Town Center to buy a second-hand battery for my sister's cellphone when I had the urge to take out all my stress by playing Soul Calibur 2 in the Timezone. I payed for 5 games (P45.00) straight Soul Calibur 2. First I played the Conquest Mode and played my account (I missed Xianghua very much) which, in the end, incurred 808 wins and 240 losses. Gosh I really hate to lose and I am frustrated with my account because I had many losses already... because my goal is to have 300 losses by the time that I have 1,000 wins... Oh-oh 60 losses more to go... O_O

The second play was in vain. The joystick malfunctioned a bit and when I choose "Conquest" the chooser went down for "Arcade". O_O And so I have to play the Arcade (whether I like it or not) since I don't want to waste my credits and I chose to play Cassandra which is surprisingly easy because I didn't lose even once... Oh well, I can control Sophitia so it is impossible that I can't control Cassandra.

The third was Conquest mode again. But then, a Korean kid suddenly challenged me on the end of the Conquest mode (fighting yourself). He keep on saying something but I can't understand a thing so I just smiled at him. O_O Then he swiped the card, and choose his character. He chose Kilik while I'm still Xianghua. I won... with no difficulty. Then, he laughed for a sec and swiped again his card and this time, he chose Nightmare, the ultimate cheater. I won the first round, I lose the second round and I won the Final Round. Yes, I won again!! But that wasn't the last time he'd challenged me.

The fourth credit was for Conquest mode but when I was still choosing a territory to fight, he came back again and challenged me again. X__X "Does he ever get tired!?" that's what I said inside my mind. This time, he chose Kilik again. I won but that didn't stop him from challenging me. He chose Kilik again for the nth time. And I lost that time because he kept on attacking me with the same attack and I'm the one who's always initiating the attack while he's only shielding. In short, that gakki ("kid" in Japanese) cheated on me! Plus my 4th credit was put in vain! *shudders*

It got on my nerves and spend my 5th and last credit fighting him. I chose Xianghua again (Xianghua forever!! xD). I got revenged by "Perfect"-ing him in the first round and attacked him furiously in the next round making him no chance of winning against me. Outside, I still smiling but inside the depths of my mind, "curse you for wasting one game!!" XD haha! Then the Korean kid went off his way to the Time Crisis 2 game leaving me with the Soul Calibur 2 game. And played another Conquest Mode.

It was 4-1 so I still won somehow... xD But it would've been pretty great if I didn't lose. Well, I just realized afterwards that losing is still part of life, you rise again to your feet and face the trial until you win. ^__^

"JOINT" and "triangle" TV sizes up and more!

sentiment: uber happy!! rockin'!!
harmony: "JOINT (TV size)" by Mami Kawada

At long last! XD I already have a clear copy of Shakugan no Shana II's opening and ending themes (TV size) which are both performed by none other than my favorite I've Sound member Mami Kawada!! xD you can avail of these mp3s if you have your eSnips account. ^__^ Now here's the widget:

Powered by eSnips.com

Now let's judge the songs....

JOINT will be used as the opening theme for Shakugan no Shana II and it will be the name for Mami Kawada's upcoming single which will be released on October 31, 2007. As what I've said in my previous post, it is really a rock music! As of now, this is Mami Kawada's most greatest rock song made, in short, an epic win! I just love how it's been done into rock! xD hearing this song makes me uber excited for October 31 October 30 night so that I can avail the long version of this song. More rockish and intense than Get my way!, I recommend this song to Mami Kawada fans just like me. xD The song has a long intro and in 33 sec., Mami will begin to sing and hit the ground with her great voice.

triangle will be used as the ending theme for the same anime. At first, I thought this will be a ballad (just like in her Hishoku no Sora single, in which the title track was upbeat and the B-side another planet is a ballad) but it turns out to be an upbeat techno song... The tune's a bit similar to KOTOKO's Sekka no Shinwa (B-side from the single being which was used as the 2nd Opening Theme for the first series of Shakugan no Shana) and to her Precious song (from her SEED album). Refreshing and just right. This song portrays more of her usual tune which is either trance or techno.

For me, I like JOINT more than triangle (but I still like this song) as it shows another side of Mami Kawada that I haven't before. I like this song although usually I am more enticed to her techno songs more than rock (just like in the case of Get my way! single, I like Aozora to Taiyou, the B-side song, more than Get my way!) but still JOINT really rocks my socks!! XD

On another point, I just noticed that I've Sound creator Kazuya Takase is not that proficient in making Mami Kawada's songs (for me) but rather, the other I've Sound creator Tomoyuki Nakazawa is more appealing to Mami's taste as he composes most (not all) of her songs and her most epic win songs are composed by Tomoyuki Nakazawa just like her Hishoku no Sora song and Aozora to Taiyou was composed by him (while Get my way! is composed by none other than Kazuya Takase). And majority of her songs in her album SEED are composed and/or arranged by Nakazawa-san which, I think is very good (I like most of his composed songs for Mami) because in my opinion, Kazuya Takase is much closer to the other 4 I've Girls namely MELL, KOTOKO, Eiko Shimamiya, and Kaori Utatsuki.

And here's more! A bigger and high quality JOINT single cover courtesy of Amazon.

JOINT single cover courtesy of Amazon.com Do you seriously think I'm finished with my surprises? Not yet... but actually this is not considered as a big surprise (but hey! I worked hard for this!) because I just transcribed the songs just now... I'm not 100% sure it is correct but the accuracy of my transcription is 90% accurate haha! So here it is!

(NOTE: Will edit when I find something incorrect in the lyrics)

JOINT single cover up!

sentiment: jumpy!!! xD
harmony: "Aozora to Taiyou" by Mami Kawada

Even though I am now cramming for my project, I got excited when I visited Mami Kawada's Geneon website... What surprised me was her main banner!! It changed so early and it looks so... GREAT!!! Damn, I didn't expect she'll be having a picture in a very secluded area (which is rare) like this...

Photo courtesy of her Geneon Website. Isn't she look great in that outfit? She looks nice! And what really freaked surprised me is her single cover. It's already out but in a very small quality...

JOINT single cover

Again, courtesy of her Geneon Website. Oh yeah, she really looks a REAL rockstar now with this appearance and with those chain and monochrome color and black outfit in the center... OMG, she's going to do it for real this time - being a rock star!!! XD Can't believe my eyes... my eyes went... O_O when I saw this thumbnail cover but how they made this cover was absolutely amazing and brilliant. xD

This October 4, 2007 will be the official airing of Shakugan no Shana II and definitely, I will be chasing after the raw episode 1 so that I can rip the TV sizes of JOINT and triangle (intro and outro of the anime respectively). Then we'll be the judge when the time comes. =)

"JOINT" single info

sentiment: nervous and at the same time excited
harmony: "Kanashimi no Mori" by Mami Kawada

I quote CDJapan's info about Mami Kawada's upcoming 5th single JOINT.

Fifth maxi-single release from Mami Kawada and theme song to the anime series
"Shakugan no Shana II" features a rock taste. Includes both intro and outro
themes to the series.

Take note of the bold statement, "features a rock taste". Well said, the JOINT song will be another of Mami's "trial-and-error" music. Why? Mami has never been in-touch with the rock music and the Get my way! single is it's proof. Before I read about this info, I was speculating that it will be another great techno music which is really known for an I've Sound member. It's not that I'm not looking forward for this single more than anything, but rather I am really feeling nervous about this single because like what I said earlier, Mami is not well-known and well-geared up for rock music so I am a bit afraid that I will be disappointed with the song/s. But in reality, she never really disappointed my taste when it comes to music just like her previous single Get my way! which is her least successful single up to date.

Well, I just hope this single will work for her... and I can see her hardwork for entering the rock music industry... When the time comes that I knew that this will be a success, they can say already that I've Sound is not just a trance & techno music production but also of rock! Nyahaha! And that sounds even great! XD I will be happy if that time comes... I really hope so... xD

As of now, the single cover is not yet available but I will post it here once I knew that it is available. =)

Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi! (TV size) is up!

Shichiten hakki☆Sh...

Music recorded/ripped directly from Veoh. The music itself is in low quality so bare with it... I had a hard time ripping it! lolz.

Ignoring the quality and the minor noises (dialogues, advertisements) in the beginning and at the end respectively, we can depict how the song goes.

The beginning of the song is a bit similar to her song UZU-MAKI which starts with heavy electric guitar and some drums but the difference is that Shichiten hakki☆Shijou shugi! is more perky and it's tempo is really fast compared to UZU-MAKI. The latter is more lively as well suited as the second opening theme for the cheerful and perky anime Hayate no Gotoku!

The cover jacket is exaggerating as well... a comic-inspired one! Take a lookie here:

Shichitenhakki☆Shijoushuji! single cover

The image courtesy of her own website. I think I will like this single more than MELL's Virgin's high!/kicks!. I'm not saying that MELL is a bit unexperienced when it comes to being a lyricist but KOTOKO's are really remarkable and good compared to her. And usually KOTOKO's singles are more enjoyable than the other I've Sound's singles (except for Mami Kawada -- yep, I'm bias when it comes to her). Well that's just what I think.
