H.O.T.D. album

Maon Kurosaki (黒崎真音) is one of Geneon's newest singer and probably if you look around and watch the latest anime, you've probably heard of her supplying the ending themes for Geneon's anime series Highschool of the Dead which is not in anyway related to Resident Evil — but similar on the zombie-infested town and exterminating of those.

It's a bit silly to see that Kishida Kyodan & The Akeboshi Rockets had their single named after the anime and Maon also did for her debut album title. They (or at least Maon herself) could have created a unique album title, no? But anyway, her debut album containing the 12 different ending themes for the said anime series will be released this 09/22.

Maon Kurosaki debut album

1. (3:36) 君と太陽が死んだ日 (Kimi to Taiyou ga Shinda Hi)
2. (4:02) color me dark
3. (3:42) Return to Destiny
4. (5:51) cold bullet blues
5. (5:08) Memories of days gone by
6. (4:52) Under The Honey Shine
7. (4:31) fuss fuzz
8. (3:21) The place of hope
9. (4:44) 宝石のスパイ (Houseki no Spy)
10. (4:11) THE last pain
11. (4:45) Hollow Men
12. (4:58) The Eternal Song

The album will contain 12 songs and all of these were used as the ending themes for the first 12 episodes of Highschool of the Dead. Their song lengths are now available courtesy of JBook. I heard most of the songs and they sounded good — well some of them are a bit poppish.

And it has to be noted that she will also release her debut single with Geneon on 11/24 entitled Magic∞world which will be used as the ending theme for To Aru Majutsu no Index II along side with Mami Kawada performing the opening theme entitled No buts!.

Mami Kawada once again on the spotlight!

After being sick for 3 days I'm back and I'm not going to elaborate on that matter because it's a horrendous matter. D: D: You're not going to like what I've gone through I swear.

But now that I'm back, I'm proud to say that Mami Kawada is on my spotlight again! I'm definitely excited for her Prophecy single that I already made its english wiki page via here.

And now a larger single cover is now available!

Prophecy
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki

TV size version here.

Although a frame (song credits still not revealed) is not the ending theme for Shana S, anticipated theme song is now revealed:

All in good time
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki

TV size version here.

And the banner pic on Mami's Geneon Website has now changed!! Lovin' it!

That's about for the news about her! And I'm listening to her more and more... Probably she'll be on my last.fm top one artist in a week. :P

More J-pop releases to look forward

Posting again! *whew* After a long and cursed day, I'm going to post some more J-pop releases I'm surely going to anticipate. ;D

Surely, it has been fast because it's already October and many anime series like Tatakau Shisho, Fairy Tail, Shakugan no Shana S, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun will be aired! Though to tell you honestly, have not watched any of them up to now because of you-know-what.

And as for J-pop, it's also kinda the same. Though I still keep on updating myself no matter how hectic my sched will be. And I already told in my earlier entries one of those I will be keeping my eye with right? Like Epsilon no Fune (10/14), Datengoku Sensen (10/21), progressive (10/28) and Prophecy (11/18). And as for this post, I will include MORE releases from my fave J-pop artist. :D

xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I'm totally excited for ELISA! I just heard the ED theme and it was better than the airy Wonder Wind with a touch of let's say Spyglass with the progressive rock feel. ;D It's very refreshing rather than IKU's ending themes. :P Lovin' it at first heard. And the single cover looks really pretty, as usual!

Mugen is like a powerful dramatic rock-ballad for an OP theme -- is White Album that of a dramatic anime?! D; Shin'ai was also the same but more of an orchestral feel with the harp strings. I like the latter better but Mugen is not that bad.

But if you think the first season theme songs are better, then you're wrong! Akai Ito was much better than the dramatic and mushy Mai Ochiru Yuki no Youni. A soft-rock clear performance none other than by my favorite Suara. ;D

If you want to hear the TV sizes, you can go to YouTube. :P They're all available there.

Tatakau Shisho OP CM

The 30-sec. CM for the opening theme of the autumn-airing anime series Tatakau Shisho - The Book of Bantorra is now up for watching on its main website. :D And I also got the video file in my cache *ehem* so instead of going to the main website I encourage you just watch the video here because I'm going to upload it here. :P

Just like I said in my earlier post, the title for the OP theme would be Datengoku Sensen (lit. War Declaration of the Corrupted Kingdom of Heaven) by none other than the favorite neoclassical-darkwave gothic lolita duo ALI PROJECT. The single for this OP will come out on October 21, 2009.

I'm still not liking the song that much just by hearing the CMs but I'm having a hunch, when I heard the TV size version, I'm going to like it more. :D

And THERE WILL BE A PV FOR THIS SONG!!!! XDDDD; *rolls in the floor* And the venue will be the TRUMPROOM, in the shopping district of Japan -- Shibuya. *how rich* XDDD

Mami for Shana OVA, I've Sound not for OP/ED themes for To Aru Railgun

Yay for this news! I was praying that Mami Kawada will do the theme song for Shakugan no Shana S and it did come true! I've Sound Database already confirmed this news! No title, credits and releasing date though but it is confirmed that it'll be Mami for both OP/ED songs and will come out in a single. :D More news will come up once some news will be revealed. ;D

On other news, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, the sort-of sequel to the I've-Sound-managed anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index, will still be managed by I've but through music production only (meaning the BGMs and not the OP/ED themes) in which Maiko Iuchi holds responsible once again. As for the OP/ED themes:

"only my railgun" by fripSide -- OP
"Dear my friend -Madaminu Mirai e-" by ELISA -- ED (yes!!! finally ELISA!!!)

As you can see, no I've on the theme songs but who knows? Maybe the 2nd OP/ED will another by Mami Kawada!!! XDDD *bricked* or anyone in the I've Sound group probably... AND I'M ALSO EXCITED FOR ELISA!!!! YAY!! AJKWQYBWJCYTWVDSUW I'll be reaching to you ELISA! =D

daily-daily Dream!! TV size (clearer ver.) plus new KOTOKO album

And so I am late for the news but I love every members of I've Sound, I'm still gonna post this one! xD

Powered by Podbean.com

This is the TV size of daily-daily Dream!! which is KOTOKO's 13th single and used as the 2nd OP theme for Hayate no Gotoku! Second Season. Not very powerful and denpatastic compared to Shichitenhakki Shijoushugi but it suits as the opening theme. But I just wished that C.G mix should've come up with a more stronger one. o_o

And finally, KOTOKO's upcoming 4th album (finally after almost 3 years) イプシロンの方舟 (Ipsilon no Fune, Ark of the Epsilon) will be released on October 14, 2009 which will contain the singles Real Onigokko, BLAZE and Hayate no Gotoku!. No further information but its catalog number would be GNCV-0014. Hopefully they would come up with some more better tracks since most of the I've girls' releases are majority disappointment.

New layout and more ALI PROJECT album news

感情: hungry~
音楽: "北京LOVERS" - ALI PROJECT

First and foremost, I would like to introduce all of you to my 6th scenario, which is You Turn it Into Light. This layout is dedicated to my fave J-pop singer, ELISA and the title is based on one of Kalafina's song Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku. And this is my first "perfect" iframe layout I've done in my entire shitty life. XD Well that's because my other past iframe layouts are kinda incomplete because I have to make a hidden post for my friends, archives and others to exist unlike here, in just one click on one of the menus above, you can go directly w/o any difficulty. =D But I'm hungry right after I finished this layout and there's no food in the fridge. D;

In other news, ALI PROJECT's upcoming album Poison has more details than ever!! XD I'm too excited for this album just by seeing the album cover and promo pic! xD

ZOMG! Arika-sama! You're growing old backwards!!! D; I did not recognized you when I first saw this promo pic of yours!! xO I mean, you're already 45 and yet you can still boldly dress like that?! That is... way too amazing!! Raburabu the smexy bunny outfit. =D

Poison

All songs composed and arranged by Mikiya Katakura and songs written by Arika Takarano.

Tracklisting:
1. Poisoner
2. 処女懐胎、あるいは白骨塔より少女達は飛翔する
3. お毒見LADY (Odokumi Lady; Poison-tasting Lady)
4. 阿芙蓉寝台 (Ahen Shendai; Opium Bed)
5. 極色一代女 (Gokushoku Ichidai Onna; Woman of a Colourful Lifetime)
6. Animals on the Earth
7. 上海繚乱ロマンチカ (Shanhai Ryouran Romantica; Shanghai Profusion Romantica)
8. 世紀末ゲネシス (Seikimatsu Genesis; End of the Century Genesis)
9. この國の向こうに
10. discipline

Information courtesy of: Otome no Inori

Some are a bit confusing to romanize (especially the long titles) that's why I leave some of them alone for now. XD *bricked* But the tracklisting itself looks promising and as usual, even though Arika remarked it as one of the romantic songs that she wrote, we can't take out the dark lyrics surrounding it since they're already 8 years in the Black Alice phase. They rarely do White Alice songs as they are now.

Since it's already 07/30, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ episode 18 will aire later and I hope it's already OP change time. I'm already itching to hear the Senritsu no Kodomotachi TV size. D:

Shakugan no Shana OVA and 3rd series announced

感情: excited but a bit afraid
音楽: "Toki wo Kizamu Uta" - Lia

According to one of my sources, which is Anime News Network and 2chShakugan no Shana will be having an OVA which will be premiered on October 23, 2009 which will primarily focus on the background of the characters and their relationships with each other (more of like a continuation to the cheesy and dramatic Shakugan no Shana II). I wonder if Mami Kawada will do the insert song, opening or ending theme? I certainly wish she'll have a business with her long-time-attachment anime series, isn't it? Just like Nana Mizuki did w/ the Nanoha series (which she all did the opening themes, as in ALL). It would be great to look forward for another Love Planet Five single. Or the big question is, will I've be a part of this project? Or even on the planned 3rd season? We'll find out that in the next few months.

Still no specific date for the airing of 3rd season but according to the producer Nobuhiro Nakayama, it will the final installment for the said series and that made me a bit sad because after all, Shakugan no Shana has also a deep attachment to me because it's one of the first anime series that I've found, discovered and even recommended to some of my anime otaku friends. They better made this one better than the second installment because it was a bit boring for an action and adventure anime. And it'd be better if Mami will do the final opening themes (or even insert and ending themes, no?) for this one since she's the one who started banging the world with her epic-renowned opening theme Hishoku no Sora. Or maybe they could also give ELISA (one of) the ending theme/s. xD *bricked* Since I'm also loving ELISA now, it could be another opportunity for her to have tie-ins! =D

Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ OP/ED

感情: hungry~~
音楽: "Kioku no Mori" - FictionJunction YUUKA

Now that I have completed the I've Sound 10th Anniversary CD Box including its scans (thanks to KuroiYuki-chan! :D) and the anime shows that I ought to download (To Aru Majutsu no Index and Clannad After Story), I can already concentrate on other anime! XD Which are Pandora Hearts (which I posted that I will watch 2 months ago) and another anime Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~. The former still haven't got any fansubbers so I anticipated the latter would already have -- and it didn't fail me. XD

And so here's the OP/ED for Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ anime series.

Powered by Podbean.com

The opening theme is entitled KARMA by KOKIA. As usual, her vocals is very strong although it's a very "dramatic" and tragic opening but it still fits the theme of the anime. I'm really impressed with how KOKIA does her superb opera voice to some of the songs I like (e.g. Follow the Nightingale which was the OP theme for the NDS game Tales of Innocence).

The ending theme is entitled Jigoku no Mon (lit. Hell's Gate) by ALI PROJECT. It's kinda messy but it's still very entertaining for an ending theme. Maybe they should switch of roles with the opening theme? xP I'm liking this song better than Rara Eve Shinseiki plus I like the combination of the violin and the trumpet. XD Another magnificent creativity of Mikiya Katakura.

RIDEBACK lyrics

RIDEBACK
Lyrics: MELL
Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase

Squeez'n step on it hard
Try to feel my heart beat
High, as high as you can
All your blood will turn to fountain water

We're surrounded by plot in this universe
Wash away the stain of blood with tears
We cannot look, or they will spell on you
Wind of fuego will lead us through

I found the light, was real, I am united
I found guide-in line in the raging world
There you see, in the sky, even in this insane world
Ride on Back
All we need is your sympathy
We make the history of our own

I dance blindly in a cage.
She was beaten to the ground.
Streets are filled with lies.
No one knows what's right and what is wrong.

So you think we are one peaceful nation.
Did you imagine this starvation?
Why we stain the love when we need it.
We are fed up with your opinion.

Stars fall out of the sky, words turned into lies.
Drunk with power, they forced us to hate.
I sacrifice all my life. The evolution was so wrong.
The heart it yearns, for a love that's pure and true.
The palace, it crumbles to the ground.

Yes I can. No I can't. I must go.
Or Should I stay? I cried hard.
Is that me? But no more tears.

Yes I can. No I can't. I must go.
Or Should I stay? I cried hard.
Is that me? Ready go yes!!!

I found the light, was real, I am united
I found guide-in line in the raging world
There you see, in the sky, even in this insane world
Ride on Back
All we need is your sympathy

Stars fall out of the sky, words turned into lies.
Drunk with power, they forced us to hate.
I sacrifice all my life. The evolution was so wrong.
The heart it yearns, for a love that's pure and true.
The palace, it crumbles to the ground.

But I want you... see you again.

C.G mix 2nd album/Chikaigoto PV&full up!

感情: hyper (not that noticeable though)
音楽: "Anemoi" - eufonius

Gyaah~ I'm getting addicted with Anemoi lately. o__o If only I had the time, I want to make a song rendition of this!!! DX well maybe in summer vacation, nee?

By the way, C.G mix will be having his 2nd album which is still unknown for now... GNCV-1011/12 is its catalog number. It'll be released on April 29, 2009 [according to my trusty source cdjapan].

And surprise! I actually downloaded (somewhere) and uploaded it in my YouTube... xD Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~ PV. =D

Plus here's the long version which I ripped (plus edited because I added some volume and extended some silences to make it more "formal". I'm kinda OC when it comes to that, ya know! XP) from the PV.

Hiyaah~ I really prepared on this one. But sadly, I still haven't got my copy of Super scription of data full... Ö

EDIT: Additional news! MELL's going to have her first DVD as well!!! Release date will be the same as C.G mix's 2nd album -- 04/29. Still untitled though.

To Aru ED2 up!

感情: just woke up
音楽: "Ko no me Kaze" - IKU

誓い言 ~スコシだけもう一度~ (TV size)
Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~

Lyrics: IKU
Composition: IKU
Arrangement: Kazuya Takase

I'd say this one's much better than Rimless ~Fuchinashi no Sekai~. This ED theme is much more relaxing and soothing. This also much better than Ko no me Kaze. XD The long version will be out this coming Wednesday, February 25, 2009 which is the same date as Eiko Shimamiya's Super scription of data. I'd just comment that IKU is fond of having long titles. O_O And she has uniform single covers... XD Ko no me Kaze -- summer, Rimless Fuchinashi no Sekai -- autumn and now, Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~ -- winter.

Tracklisting for Chikaigoto single:

1. Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~
2. Yurari Haru (Arrangement: Kaoru Ookubo)
3. Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~ -Instrumental-
4. Yurari Haru -Instrumental-

Super scription of data (TV size) up!

感情: my head hurts yet feeling energetic
音楽: "Naraku no Hana" - Eiko Shimamiya

Super scription of data is now available -- for listening. XD Sorry if I was kinda late. I just returned to reality and I was out for the last 3 days.

Credits:
Lyrics: Eiko Shimamiya
Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase

When I heard the preview, I was really damn sure that Takase will be the one doing the composition and arrangement. The usage of electric guitars were identical to his likings plus the intro was somewhat striking and unique. I like it but really don't like the chorus part. Hopefully the long version will be much better.

The long version will be out next week --- February 25. And for those who don't know, this will be the OP theme for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei (lit. When the Cicadas Cry Solutions).

Rara Eve Shinseiki full version

感情: thrilled
音楽: "Rara Eve Shinseiki" - ALI PROJECT

Finally, a long version!! I was waiting for this although the single will be released on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. ;p I'm just too excited that's why I searched all my way to the full version and I found it in nicovideo and then ripped it. XDDD

Get this widget | Track details | eSnips Social DNA

My impression on the song didn't change. It's good although the usual upbeatness decreased a bit! Considering it doesn't contain much darkness compared to their recent releases. XD For me, it doesn't disappoint plus the intro is so catchy. X3 Mikiya Katakura did a very good job on this one.

A New Anime to Look Forward to

感情: excited
音楽: "NightmaRe" - SNoW

Just by exploring last.fm and Wikipedia, I just found an anime worth watching and waiting for. This manga-soon-to-be-anime is called Pandora Hearts. As usual it's a shounen anime. Don't expect me to hunt a shoujo one. I'll be either half or not interested at all, I'm telling you. XP According to good ol' Wikipedia, it is a Japanese manga series by Jun Mochizuki. Originally starting serialization in the shounen manga magazine GFantasy published by Square Enix in June 2006. There are 7 volumes currently released in Japan. To find out more about it, click here.

Title: Pandora Hearts
Genre: Shounen, Supernatural, Comedy, Mystery
Rated: Teenagers

Just what I'm looking for an anime. XD I love the genre. XD Plus the drawing is great (both anime and manga). It is rumored to be aired on April 2009. And what makes this anime great for me is that Yuki Kajiura-sama will be doing the music/BGMs for this anime!!! *___* Ah sheer greatness that I'll look forward again. Her BGMs and composed/arranged songs are considered one of the greatest and most epic ever in anime industry. If you've already heard some of her works in (some of the) .hack//series, Tsubasa Chronicle, Kara no Kyoukai etc., you know what I mean. XD

Gyaa~ can't wait for April to come. *spazz*

Kioku (TV size) - Younha feat. GOKU up!

感情: hungry
音楽: "Mona Lisa" - Hitomi Shimatani

Due to my friend kieyuku's request for the TV size rip of RIDEBACK's ending theme, I ripped it through high-quality video from YouTube.

Kioku (TV size) by Younha feat. GOKU

This song is also good although it's not Younha's best... It's very... sensual compared to a pop-rock Houki Boshi but nonetheless it's still considered good music. I couldn't hear GOKU's voice though nor I know what his part on this song is.

I just noticed that Younha left Sony Records and went to Sistus Records instead. Oh no, that IS a bad move. Knowing Sachi Tainaka and Jyukai's sales, tsk, tsk. But I can't blame her though, and instead I'd rather blame Sistus (who have the same poor strategy as Geneon -- the former is a subsidiary of the latter, I guess). Younha is talented, yes. But I noticed she's not all famous right now unlike when she had the Bleach tie-in.

I guess such tie-ins truly brings out of the best of you, no? But it's not always the case, I know of some other artists that didn't shine despite of a "heavy" anime tie-ins (good example of this is, HALCALI's Long Kiss Goodbye which was used as the 7th ED for Naruto Shippuuden).

Rara Eve Shinseiki (TV size) is up!

sentiment: cramming
harmony: "Uninstall" by Chiaki Ishikawa

As usual cramming with my thesis but still I won't be able to sleep if I won't post this one! ;D

Rara Eve Shinseiki TV size

It's not as great as the songs they've released in the past years but still, it's likeable. :D I'm still anticipating for the B-side of the single. :D

FYI, this song is the opening theme for the newly aired anime series Sora Kake Girl (Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo). I haven't watched it but a kind person posted in the ALI PROJECT page of last.fm that it has been posted in YouTube. Want to watch it?

RIDEBACK TV size up!

sentiment: excited
harmony: "RIDEBACK (TV size)" by MELL

Or you can download my low quality rip of the TV size here. =)

Well for me this one's much "decent" and tolerable than "KILL" so I like this one better. XD As usual, filled with Engrish-y lyrics but I really like the song. XD And it has a trance-y intro which gives back the ol' I've spirit. It's not all bouncy as I thought since the "denpa-like" part was just the chorus -- nothing in the first part.

I'd say Kazuya Takase did a great job with the song. Haha! Go MELL! X3

Mami Kawada's 7th single "masterpiece"

sentiment: excited!
harmony: "say goodbye & good day" by KOKIA

Courtesy of amazon of course. Although no information has leaked but coincidentally just by visiting the page of her "unknown title" 7th single, suddenly the single cover was revealed and the title for To Aru Majutsu no Index's 2nd OP theme which is now revealed as masterpiece.

Simple yet elegant cover from Mami Kawada!! I love it!!! <3 I'm expecting the song will be as great as the cover. =)

Preview for KOTOKO's "Restoration" available, MELL for RIDEBACK

sentiment: kinda excited but not super excited
harmony: "Hotaru Boshi" by Chitose Hajime

Restoration ~沈黙の空~ (Restoration ~Chinmoku no Sora~)
Lyrics: KOTOKO
Composition/Arrangement: C.G mix
Theme song for BALDR SKY

As with the third tie-up with the series, KOTOKO still performed the opening theme song with C.G mix (again) with the music and arrangement. Not as good as Face of Fact and the Resolution version. Surely, I've music declines bit by bit... ~_~ Hopefully Mami's 7th single won't be disappointing... Random thought: Why am I feeling that Mami will perform the theme song for the eroge Haramiko? Hmm... I hope my premonition's correct since Mami hasn't done any eroge theme songs lately.

On other news, MELL is back with another tie-in with a new anime series called RIDEBACK which will aire in Japan next month, January 2009. Not sure but most likely, it'll come with a single which will become her 5th one. She's been consistent since she'll also do the theme song for Shin Setsu Ryouki no Ori entitled Bizarrerie Cage which serves as her 2nd tie-in with the said eroge after performing the ballad Permit. Bizarrerie Cage will be composed and arranged by Maiko Iuchi.

A preview for the theme song for RIDEBACK is available in the trailer for the anime. Song is still untitled. It's a perky and bouncy one but it's kinda bland with just the preview. Or is it aiming to be the next FLY TO THE TOP? Who knows.
