Katana to Saya [full + PV]

Since the whole single is still not leaking [since almost all of their releases leaked in the net after a day or two from its release date], I woke up this morning receiving a message from the ALI PROJECT fan page from Facebook that the full PV of Katana to Saya is out. :D And it made me quite excited since it has been awhile since they made a full PV [since Senritsu no Kodomotachi and Datengoku Sensen only has a 90sec PV which was kinda dissatisfying].

As for the PV:

And as for the PV rip [full version HQ]

I love the full version of the song since Arika's voice is as powerful as ever — not too draggy like in Ranse Eroica. Plus the instrumentation was very playful as they used more traditional Japanese instruments to make it more oriental and there are also some dialogue-like lines in the PV [and I don't know if it is included in the single recording since I only have the PV rip]. Haizakura is of course, the B-side and I already heard the preview — per as usual of the slow and darker neoclassical theme but somehow, I'm liking it more than Ude Kaina. Hmm the last great coupling songs that I've heard from them are Ware Kimi Omou Yue ni Ari Ikirei to Narite [from the single Jigoku no Mon] and Takarajima [from the single Datengoku Sensen].

ALI PROJECT - Katana to Saya

Wow I'm afraid I'm a tad too late to post this one. But there's a saying, "It's better to be late than never" right? *bricked*

And so now, for the info.

[CD+DVD]

[CD only]

1. Katana to Saya (刀と鞘) [4:38]
(TV anime "Katanagatari" OP2 theme)
2. Haizakura (灰桜) [4:21]
3. Katana to Saya (instrumental) [4:37]
4. Haizakura (instrumental) [4:18]

wow I already know the song lengths.=3 thanks to Jbook as usual! Already heard the TV size of the titular track and it sounds great! :D I like this one better than their previous single Ranse Eroica. It sounded more oriental than Asura Hime and the rhythm is quite good! I hope the coupling song would be good as well since Ude Kaina did not made a great impact on me. And even their ending theme contribution (Yuki no Onna) to the same anime did not made me any happier.

The single covers were also pretty great! I'm really impressed with the clothing and the design of the jackets! Bravo!

Here's the 90-sec (also the TV size) version of the song! Enjoy! :)

"Kagayaku Sora no Shijima ni wa" single info

[CD only]

[CD+DVD]
Kagayaku Sora no Shijima ni wa (輝く空の静寂には)
Kalafina's 8th single [Kuroshitsuji II insert song]
SECL-901~4

02. adore [5:13]
03. Kagayaku Sora no Shijima ni wa (instrumental) [4:12]

Hmm... I didn't really like the song when fellow Kalafina fan Yuki-chan posted a preview of the song. It was like a sapphire meets Haru wa Koganei no Yume no Naka. =__=' But after hearing the preview from the PV (which happens to be a preview as well), I've come to like it - a little. It's like sapphire meets red moon. XD *stoned to death* And while I appreciate the titular track since it sounded like a B-side song, adore is very much likeable! Though it kinda resembled fantasia. I'll still be looking forward to this single.

Look who's back from the slums of Beverly Hills?

Well, it's just me, FRED ITACHI who's back from the blogging world. Though I can't say I'm totally back for good but after an unintentional and long hiatus, I think my blogging spirit is getting back to me should I say?

Okay, so I didn't post for like 5 months but do you think I abandoned my fandoms? I don't think so. =p

Probably, I'm going to review ELISA's Rouge Adolescence, Mami Kawada's LINKAGE and Kalafina's Red Moon in the next few days so I hope my followers (if any) and friends got to read this one. Since I haven't been posting, expect that my style of expression would be a bit different or like it's lacking something. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to work on it. XD And so coming up for review next time:

[P.S.: Sorry if my layout is not something I really made. I'm just not in the mood to make a layout for myself. =p but I still made the new banner.]

What's this I've Sound?

Let me just rant before I go to the slums again!! :/

After announcing of another epic fail non-I've remix album master groove circle 2 (probably a sequence to the horrendous master groove circle released last September 24, 2008), KOTOKO will now release her 5th ALBUM (first best album)?! O.O Why exhaust KOTOKO when the other I've girls needed some more release? Where's MELL's new single & album?! (-____-)' Aren't you gonna release more Mami? Where on earth is Eiko? Anyway, details:

-being
-Chercher
-Kirei na Senritsu
-Hayate no Gotoku!
-Shichiten Hakki Shijou Shugi!
-BLAZE
-Sociometry
-Special Life!
-daily-daily Dream

Exactly 13 songs to fill up an album, right?

--- Right now, I don't really know what to say. Probably this day is just really THAT tiring so I'll just sleep this news away. :P

Mami Kawada once again on the spotlight!

After being sick for 3 days I'm back and I'm not going to elaborate on that matter because it's a horrendous matter. D: D: You're not going to like what I've gone through I swear.

But now that I'm back, I'm proud to say that Mami Kawada is on my spotlight again! I'm definitely excited for her Prophecy single that I already made its english wiki page via here.

And now a larger single cover is now available!

Prophecy
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki

TV size version here.

Although a frame (song credits still not revealed) is not the ending theme for Shana S, anticipated theme song is now revealed:

All in good time
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki

TV size version here.

And the banner pic on Mami's Geneon Website has now changed!! Lovin' it!

That's about for the news about her! And I'm listening to her more and more... Probably she'll be on my last.fm top one artist in a week. :P

Prophecy details, SCREW preview also available

Sudden news coming up after another and so I'm going to post this one.

First, Mami Kawada's 8th single Prophecy which will be used as the opening theme to Oct.23-airing OVA of long-time anime tie-up Shakugan no Shana. Cover and coupling song has been revealed though no song credits have been released. I'd say she's always been in a dark room/place in PVs and covers no?

I'm liking the song. :D Although it's not as rockier than Hishoku no Sora and JOINT. Or maybe the intro will be something good. XDDD; TomoyukixTakeshi for this one probably since they're the ones for the first two Shana openers (w/ exception of Hishoku no Sora in w/c Nakazawa did it alone). The PV for Prophecy is also on Mami's Geneon Website.

And I ripped the preview of KOTOKO's 14th single SCREW from the new trailer of Assault Girls. ":D I admit I was rather shocked that it was a techno track rather than a dark rock.

Datengoku Sensen details

Forgot to update this one. I already know this information several days ago but didn't had much time to post so since it's the weekend, I'll better post this. xD

Liking the cover. xD It's so pirate theme and exotic. I wonder what they will have for the PV... :D The TV size is also out in YouTube already. x) Now I kinda understand why they described it as a hyperactive version of the gothica Baragoku Otome. :D I'm so in love with the song! It starts real mediocre then suddenly it bursts out with high energy. XDDD I wonder how will the coupling song will be? TBH, I can't read their minds on what neoclassical darkwave concept they have on this song but I sincerely hope it'll be a good one!

More J-pop releases to look forward

Posting again! *whew* After a long and cursed day, I'm going to post some more J-pop releases I'm surely going to anticipate. ;D

Surely, it has been fast because it's already October and many anime series like Tatakau Shisho, Fairy Tail, Shakugan no Shana S, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun will be aired! Though to tell you honestly, have not watched any of them up to now because of you-know-what.

And as for J-pop, it's also kinda the same. Though I still keep on updating myself no matter how hectic my sched will be. And I already told in my earlier entries one of those I will be keeping my eye with right? Like Epsilon no Fune (10/14), Datengoku Sensen (10/21), progressive (10/28) and Prophecy (11/18). And as for this post, I will include MORE releases from my fave J-pop artist. :D

xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I'm totally excited for ELISA! I just heard the ED theme and it was better than the airy Wonder Wind with a touch of let's say Spyglass with the progressive rock feel. ;D It's very refreshing rather than IKU's ending themes. :P Lovin' it at first heard. And the single cover looks really pretty, as usual!

Mugen is like a powerful dramatic rock-ballad for an OP theme -- is White Album that of a dramatic anime?! D; Shin'ai was also the same but more of an orchestral feel with the harp strings. I like the latter better but Mugen is not that bad.

But if you think the first season theme songs are better, then you're wrong! Akai Ito was much better than the dramatic and mushy Mai Ochiru Yuki no Youni. A soft-rock clear performance none other than by my favorite Suara. ;D

If you want to hear the TV sizes, you can go to YouTube. :P They're all available there.

progressive single details, blossomdays (short ver.) now available

Ok, so I'm late with the news because I assume you know the reason, right?

And so ε~Epsilon~ full ver. leaked as well. =S And I was a bit late for that. Did not even know where it came from. Anyway, this one is NOT a total high quality rip. Someone just posted this at aibublog. I don't think the one who uploaded won't mind if I use his/her link. I was just a pissed off with the Engrish. 6:06 is so love for me. x3 but totally not impressed with the long version. Only the first 4 mins. were impressive. Or maybe the mp3 was not that high quality that's why I didn't like it. :P

And btw, I ripped the blossomdays short version from the demo in the lupinus website. Not totally liking the song although it's eurobeat. Kinda sounded like the techno-trance-euro group m.o.v.e's work if you ask me -- it's too generic and nothing astounding.

But THE MOST EXCITING NEWS FOR ME IS THIS...

What's exciting? Because progressive will be a long song!!!! XD storia was great but it's too short for me. :P The coupling song is moderately long as well! I'm kinda longing for a new Kalafina single and it will be full-packed! Though haven't heard any preview of progressive. x__X But I know it will be great because Yuki Kajiura IS EPICALLY GREAT!! 8D And it's a good thing the terrible cover was the CD-only version, gotta love the CD+DVD!!! ♪┏(・o・)┛♪┗ ( ・o・) ┓♪┏ ( ) ┛♪┗ (・o・ ) ┓♪┏(・o・)┛♪

Epsilon no Fune previews, now available!

Previews are now available on her main website.

Mostly are upbeat songs especially the new songs. :D Although I can't say I'm liking all of them though. Ö some of them are kinda obvious on their credits. And I'm going to specify my hypotheses on the song credits of Epsilon no Fune.

1. ε~Epsilon~ (Kazuya Takase)
2. リアル鬼ごっこ Real Onigokko
3. ∞-DRIVE (Kazuya Takase)
4. scene
5. 雨とギター Ame to Guitar (sounds like Kara no Tsubomi? C.G mix + Takeshi Hoshino)
6. 限界打破 Genkai Daha (Tomoyuki Nakazawa x Takeshi Ozaki)
7. モネラの絆 Monera no Kizuna (C.G mix+Takeshi Ozaki --- so obvious! it sounds like HISUI!)
8. ハヤテのごとく! Hayate no Gotoku!
9. RI←SU→KU (Maiko Iuchi)
10. HELLION (Tomoyuki Nakazawa x Takeshi Ozaki)
11. Geoglyphs (C.G mix)
12. BLAZE
13. LITTLE BABY NOTHING (Kazuya Takase -- w/ both of them in their most brilliant ENGRISH words)

I'm liking the following: ε~Epsilon~, 限界打破, and HELLION. ∞-DRIVE was alright while the others seems to lack something...

ε~Epsilon~PV preview available, Shana S ED (?) teaser also available

WOW MORE I'VE SOUND PREVIEWS!!!! *bricked* I'll be smack up for uploading videos that much. But I just wanted to share this in the world as well. HEY THIS IS WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING, ya know! :P

Oh well the first video is some sort of teaser of Shakugan no Shana S ending theme (which is untitled for now) which is also sung by Mami Kawada. It is not upbeat so I'm presuming this one's the ending theme and not Prophecy. And from the sounds of it, I hunch that this one's by Takase. I'm liking it because it doesn't sound boring and all -- just light-hearted pop-rock of some sort.

And this second video is the PV preview for KOTOKO's PV for her upcoming album entitled ε~Epsilon~. And IT DOESN'T DISAPPOINT!!!! @_@ I'M TOTALLY LOVING IT!!! IT'S SO TRANCE-Y!!! XDD The PV preview is also available on her Geneon Website but since you're already here, might as well not go there and press the play button, nee? *bricked by KOTOKO for straying off her website visitors*

This one sounds just like Re-sublimity-Agony dance track!!! I'm hypnotized by it!!! @___@ DEFINITELY, IT IS A HIGH RECOMMENDED one. XDDD; From the sounds of it, it looks like it'll be Takase as well because it's a higher-tempo version of Mami Kawada's epic song TRILL.

eufonius' new album "Ao no Scape"

It has been a while since I heard something from this duo, and I'm pretty glad they're coming up with another studio album -- a fourth one is always welcome. but even though this is the 4th studio album, it is already an overall of 8 albums -- which is not really that bad if you ask me.

Their recent release Nejimaki Musica (mini-album) was very cute with some of their songs converted into some music box version but have to admit, it lacked promotion because it was an individual release and all so even though it debuted on #15 on the Oricon dailies, it dropped instantly the next day. And after a week, I saw that this EP flopped to #165. o_O'

But no worries since, they have a new album entitled Ao no Scape (碧のスケープ, lit. Green Scape) which will be release on September 30, 2009. The photo above was the promo pic for their album and I love this photo because it's one of their greatest photo to date (those posted in the last.fm where kinda miserable plus riya in glasses is so pretty ♥ and Hajime Kikuchi looks slimmer and better in this pic)

The tracklisting looks good since most of their powerful tie-ins (Reflectier and phosphorus which are both ) are present -- even some of their coupling songs and image songs from different anime series. I wonder why Kono Koe ga Todoitara is not present. =S

All songs are composed/arranged by Hajime Kikuchi while lyrics and vocals are provided by riya.

Tatakau Shisho OP CM

The 30-sec. CM for the opening theme of the autumn-airing anime series Tatakau Shisho - The Book of Bantorra is now up for watching on its main website. :D And I also got the video file in my cache *ehem* so instead of going to the main website I encourage you just watch the video here because I'm going to upload it here. :P

Just like I said in my earlier post, the title for the OP theme would be Datengoku Sensen (lit. War Declaration of the Corrupted Kingdom of Heaven) by none other than the favorite neoclassical-darkwave gothic lolita duo ALI PROJECT. The single for this OP will come out on October 21, 2009.

I'm still not liking the song that much just by hearing the CMs but I'm having a hunch, when I heard the TV size version, I'm going to like it more. :D

Epsilon no Fune album details

Now that more details came up from an album, it's time for an update. Well the tracklisting is the same but the order is NOW different than the last time I posted about the album. Although no credits on every song, I'm still going to post it.

Oh and about the hitorigoto 2009 ver., main poster of aibublog, Aibu, cleared up that it can be availed in the Epsilon no Fune album if you but it in any Tower Records store (in Japan, I think. I don't know if it's applicable to Tower Records in other countries though).

additional hunch: ε~Epsilon~ should be some sort of like MELL's SCOPE. Probably will be done by Takase.

I like regular CD-only edition cover better. And I always thought that they'll probably make a "planet" concept on this album. The word "Epsilon" somehow sounds "spacey", at least for me. And I love the astronomical concept --- gotta love astronomy. ( ゚ ヮ゚)

Geoglyphs and HELLION sounds intriguing to me because it's so profound for a trance/techno (or rock?) song. :D

While Monera no Kizuna seems like a ballad to me? I don't know, it's just a hunch though. Probably will be done by none other than SORMA. XD

KOTOKO's 14th single
Theme song for the movie 「アサルトガールズ」 (Assault Girls)
GNCV-0022~23
2009.12.02 OUT

Here's the 45-sec. trailer of the movie.

This will be KOTOKO's second movie tie-up and guess what?! It's directed by Mamoru Oshii - the one who's responsible for the movie Kiru ~KILL~ -- MELL's first movie tie-up.

Still no other information (nor it has been scheduled for pre-order) leaked but by the looks of it, I've Sound king Kazuya Takase will be handling this one (probably).

Futa*Ane song credits revealed!

I just recently found this information:

two HeaRt
Lyrics: KOTOKO
Composition/Arrangement: Maiko Iuchi
Vocals: Kirishima Airi (桐島愛里) <---- so is she the new I've girl?!

and SRSLY another Maiko Iuchi eroge track. I guess we should expect another cutesy-error type of song, nee? And is Airi Kirishima another one of Shimamiya-sensei's students? (: Or is my kanji right about her name?! :P haha! (Post edited)

Later then, I'll have to go w/ my best friend on her school activity. :D *goes off to the bathroom*

Getting over this week

First of all, I would like to congratulate Pi-Pi-Pi for winning the I've Sound Karaoke Contest although I'm aware that she won't be able to read this one.

Okay, so after a week full of anticipated release (refer to the singles I've said in one of my earlier posts), this week will have another big downloads for me. Yeah, although it may not be big for some, but for me, it's already this big because of my HDD problem.

And before I post my anticipated singles/albums this week, I'll display the result of the first-week sales of the last week's anticipated singles/albums:

singles:
ALI PROJECT (Senritsu no Kodomotachi, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ OP2) = #23 (4,845 copies sold)
savage genius (Watashi wo Mitsukete., Pandora Hearts ED2) = #85 (1,016 copies sold)

albums:
m.o.v.e (anim.o.v.e) = #19 (7,702 copies sold)
RYTHEM (Best Story) = #22 (6,939 copies sold)
Suara (Kizuna) = #45 (2,359 copies sold)

---------------

And the Oricon dailies for this week:

singles:
KOTOKO (daily-daily Dream, Hayate no Gotoku!! Second Season OP2) = 13→13
KOKIA (Transparent, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ ED2) = below top 50 (for two nights)
Sachi Tainaka (Unmeibito) = below top 50 (for two nights)

albums:
ALI PROJECT (Poison) = 14↑10
Yousei Teikoku (Gothic Lolita Doctrine) = 31↓39

---------------

For now, I'm listening to ALI PROJECT's Poison album and will make a review after a proper listen to all of the songs. But I'll be giving a hint that there's a high probability that I will give this album a high five rate because of the songs. I'm liking all of them and the album is much greater than their previous album Kinsho since most of the songs here in their new album are quite upbeat and experimental -- and they fitted.
