Hmm it has come to the point that I've Sound is going to release three weeks in a row! And it really intrigues me who's going to get most of the sales and recognition... Is it:

- KOTOKO's Loop-the-Loop single? [10/20 out]
- MELL's MIRAGE album? [10/27 out]
- Mami Kawada's No buts! single? [11/03 out]

Although the long version is too short, it still paid off the wait!! It's much better than the short version especially the instrumental part in 2:43. :D The electric guitar mania is so so love! XD XD I love how Maiko did the electric guitar job if only the song was much longer, this song would be the ultimate love!! *,*

Ohh more I've info, it looks like snIpe would also be released as a standalone single which will be released on 06/24 together with her ao-iconoclast/PIGEON-the green-ey'd monster single. Wow this is the first time an I've singer will release two singles in one date but sadly, the latter single is not I've-produced. xD

I really like Bizarrerie Cage because it really cushions MELL's powerful vocals as ever plus Maiko Iuchi did an excellent job of mixing rock and techno elements in the song. With the usual messy electric guitar but this time it was more attractive and the combination really makes it really anticipating -- at least for me. xP Can't wait for the long version to be released. XD *spazz*

Although the demo movie was kinda... brutal and bloody. Not the usual eroge, huh? Or is it not eroge but more of a horror visual novel like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni? x0 Oh well, at least the song is very inline with the game and that's what matters. x3

Ah my first entry for April 2009 -- promoting again. xP And before I sleep and face my father's wrath later in the morning, I shall do this before it's too late... xD

I just visited Amazon to check if they already uploaded the Chikai single cover (even though I already have it! XP *bricked*), instead I noticed that C.G mix's album and MELL's DVD already had their cover released! And so I credit Amazon for posting them.

It's very creative and I like it. Period. Hopefully the songs will be creative as well. However, as much as his debut album looks, his face was not exposed. Is he ashamed of being not photogenic? o.O'

This one's pretty messy. Much messier than the cover for the SAVIA DVD. Is this meant to be a Red fraction replica?

DID YOU KNOW THAT...

1. the most highest first-week sales of I've Sound single is 25,499 copies? Which is KOTOKO's 2nd single Re-sublimity while the single with the weakest first-week sales is MELL's 4th single KILL with only 2,664 copies sold.

2. the I've single with the longest charting week is Eiko Shimamiya's debut single Higurashi no Naku Koro ni? It charted for 26 weeks. While the shortest charting week is still MELL's 4th single KILL which only stayed at the Oricon top 200 charts for only 2 weeks.

3. the most successful (I meant highest ranking, not highest sales) I've single ever released was KOTOKO's 5th single being which garnered the #4 spot on its first week. Although that was the case, did you know that the least successful I've single as of now is also by KOTOKO? And it's her recent released sleepy single U Make Ai Dream which only debuted at #46. (But if we're talking about an "all-time" single, the lowest will be Shooting Star at #62). 

4. the longest I've Sound song of all time is Eiko Shimamiya's Sukarabe no Inori -Brown Sugar Style- from her EP hologram. It's length is 8:51. But if we're talking about an original song (meaning it's not a remix), the longest would be Eiko Shimamiya's O with a length of 8:03. Despite the shortest title I've had came up, it holds the longest non-remix song of all time. While the shortest song would be Mami Kawada's 4th single Get my way! with a length of 2:56.

5. the longest original title (meaning there's no  "-Remix-" or any other name of a person who remixed it or whatsoever) that I've made was KOTOKO's song Mighty Heart ~Aru Hi no Kenka, Itsumo no Koigokoro~ with 40 letters on it (special/punctuational characters not included) while the shortest title is Eiko Shimamiya's O.

6. I've Sound's first movie/live-action tie-in was Real Onigokko? The song made for the said movie was performed by KOTOKO with the same title as the movie.

7. that the first I've girl was actually MELL and not KOTOKO? MELL and I've Sound King Kazuya Takase are already acquainted with each other even before I've was created. However, at that time, MELL is still using her pseudonym Orihime and it was changed to MELL when I've was formed way back 1998. And according to an interview when MELL will be guesting at a concert in Texas a few years ago, it was actually Takase who gave her the name MELL which came from her pet dog named Mellmo. She asked why gave that name but Takase just persisted it and unbelievably, she used it! Until right now, her real name is still a mystery.

8. I've Sound girls had a rather "private" profile? Speaking of mysteries, their real names were never revealed and even their birth years. What's with the hiding of personal information?

9. the first I've girl to sign into a recording label was actually KOTOKO and not MELL? KOTOKO was the first to sign a recording contract to Geneon on 2004, followed by Mami Kawada (2005), Eiko Shimamiya (2006), MELL (2006), and Kaori Utatsuki (2007). Although the same year, Eiko Shimamiya was still the first to sign since her debut single Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was released 3 weeks before MELL's debut single Red fraction.

10. the most successful and highest selling I've Sound album of all time was KOTOKO's 2nd album Garasu no Kaze? It garnered the #6 position and had a total sales of approximately 48,000 copies. The least successful and least sold album was Eiko Shimamiya's 2nd album Hikari Nadeshiko. It only reached #27 and sold only 7,333 copies.

11. the I've girl who has the most multiple tie-in of only one series was Eiko Shimamiya? From her debut album to her future 5th single, it is all tie-in with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series.

12. (c/o KuroiYuki88) according to their official profile in Geneon's website, the tallest member of Love Planet Five is Mami Kawada with 158cm (some says its 159cm) height, and the shortest is KOTOKO with 150cm. However, recently KOTOKO wrote in her blog, saying that she grew 2cm taller than the official one. So if we count this as true, then Kaori Utatsuki will be the shortest member with 151cm.

13. Madonna is actually one of MELL's idols (according to the same interview mentioned above) that's why if you see the Promotional Video (PV) for no vain, it's somewhat similar to Madonna's video for Frozen. Similar location, same color setting, similar clothing etc.

Oh yes, I'm certainly right about RIDEBACK. XD It's 50% kicks!, 40% BLAZE and 10% WHEEL OF FORTUNE (but you can ignore the last). Yes, it's not something made of new material or another of Takase's creative bouncy synths but I can say just by listening to the instrumental that it is tolerable. I mean for me, it's great -- greater than KILL. Much decent-sounding, at least. XD Although it's a very electric-guitar dependent.

You're right about you're thinking. Yes, RIDEBACK single was out VERY early. XP And as of now, I'm still halfway of downloading the single and PV -- the question of why am I still downloading it it's because the good samaritans once again uploaded it in a very slowpoke web host. =.=' So once again, I'm suffering to download it but I have to admit, it has improved its speed unlike my past downloads (Imagine downloading a 2MB file @ 30mins.? O_O). Maybe I'll post the single in my LJ community if it finshes earlier than expected.

RIDEBACK -Re-mix ver.- is kinda alright but it's shorter than the original version... plus it's like JOYBASU's remix for Mami Kawada's radiance. It has become a bit rockier edge (since I'm expecting a bit trance-y remix) but not a bad try, at least for me.

It's a good thing that the remix and instrumental version we're the first to download haha so that I can judge it already! XD

I just made the Rideback article @ wiki since I already know who the remixer of RIDEBACK is. Yes, I was just waiting for it all along that's why if you're wandering, "WTF?! Rideback still haven't article?!". And my trusty sources already confirmed it -- namely Amazon and Ivemusic.net (IMS). =D

The name's Ken Morioka. Actually, I already heard of him but am not familiar of his works. o__o But I just searched about him and realized that he was actually one of MELL's guests at her SCOPE first live tour last November 2008.

Although I'm not familiar w/ him, I have high hopes for his remix and not to mention, for the song itself. I'm liking it better than KILL.

Oh and not just a remix, RIDEBACK will also have the usual instrumental version w/c is a good thing because I thought, it won't be having one. XD Well one thing's never changed and that is it's release date which is on March 4, 2009.

I like this PV more than the KILL PV. Much more decent I'd say plus it displays a fashionable MELL although you can't help notice the Engrish-ness. =3 But that's natural of MELL. And my impression on the song still didn't change. I still find it great plus it sounded like kicks! than its TV size.

I have a hunch that MELL's getting the trophy to be the second Arika Takarano because I just notice she's wearing another French aristocrat clothes but as I said, it's still better than the seductive-black image she portrayed in KILL. It's a no-no for me, I'd rather see her wear the black satin clothes she wore in no vain. That's still tolerable and much more "hauntingly beautiful" rather than the former. What can I say, MELL still rocks! =D

Well for me this one's much "decent" and tolerable than "KILL" so I like this one better. XD As usual, filled with Engrish-y lyrics but I really like the song. XD And it has a trance-y intro which gives back the ol' I've spirit. It's not all bouncy as I thought since the "denpa-like" part was just the chorus -- nothing in the first part.

I'd say Kazuya Takase did a great job with the song. Haha! Go MELL! X3

I wonder how's PSI-missing's sales? Learning that it charted for it's 7th week (through Oricon), I wonder if it already reached 18k sales since the 17,409 total sales on wiki was for it's 6th week sales... While poor KILL already stopped charting for 2 weeks (which only garnered 3,403 sales). It's just proves that PSI-missing was more epic win than KILL. =3 Haha!

I also revamped Mami's fanlisting & fansite. Wait, I already told this on my previous posts?! Ah well, I'm just a little proud of myself although it looks simple, it's still piece of hard work. XD *wipes sweat on my forehead*

Next will be the ALI PROJECT fanlisting and the visual kei layout for my friend's multiply site. She asked me to make her a new layout. I ripped it in the link that hikaru linked on his post at the I've Sound blog so please do mind the ramblings of Yuka Iguchi (the seiyuu of Index) and someone I don't recognize (maybe Rina Satou?). XD

PS: It sounded real different from some of Iuchi's works and I really liked it! xD It doesn't sound like an I've Sound work but it's something different but you can trace that this is certainly Iuchi's work since she's the one who usually goes into high-tempo beat techno songs. It's not as noisy as seduce *whew*.

And another news, even the unreleased Super scription of data for the OVA Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei has been released, Eiko Shimamiya will have her tie-in once again (for the nth time) for the movie release of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Chikai, the sequence for the live-action movie for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni this year. The song will be titled Chikai and we still don't know if it will come out as a single nor the credits for the song.

As with the third tie-up with the series, KOTOKO still performed the opening theme song with C.G mix (again) with the music and arrangement. Not as good as Face of Fact and the Resolution version. Surely, I've music declines bit by bit... ~_~ Hopefully Mami's 7th single won't be disappointing... Random thought: Why am I feeling that Mami will perform the theme song for the eroge Haramiko? Hmm... I hope my premonition's correct since Mami hasn't done any eroge theme songs lately.

On other news, MELL is back with another tie-in with a new anime series called RIDEBACK which will aire in Japan next month, January 2009. Not sure but most likely, it'll come with a single which will become her 5th one. She's been consistent since she'll also do the theme song for Shin Setsu Ryouki no Ori entitled Bizarrerie Cage which serves as her 2nd tie-in with the said eroge after performing the ballad Permit. Bizarrerie Cage will be composed and arranged by Maiko Iuchi.

A preview for the theme song for RIDEBACK is available in the trailer for the anime. Song is still untitled. It's a perky and bouncy one but it's kinda bland with just the preview. Or is it aiming to be the next FLY TO THE TOP? Who knows.

I have to admit, these songs really gave me a hard time a long time ago and it's really hard to explain on how did I got these songs... First, I looked for the PV (but not really successful) but instead I found a "video" with a static picture of KILL's single cover but the two songs are already there. I ripped "On my own" because KILL gave me a hard time on the fading out part so I just ripped the one in the barks TV and managed to watch the full PV as well.

Well, I have to *ehem* admit that my perspective about the song changed a bit when I heard the full version because I was disappointed when I heard the preview. It lacks the power to kill. XD I mean it's like, watching a bloody horror anime and yet, you were not satisfied because it needs more blood. XD

Well, I'm liking it somehow but "On my own" is kinda bland, if you ask me. I know I like "The first finale in me" but can Tomoyuki Nakazawa stop composing ballads for MELL? I'm already sick of it. (_ _;) Can you make it more powerful and rock ballad for us? It's boring you know! Not to mention, "The first finale in me" and "On my own" shares the same length. *ouch* They're like the shitty twins. -___-

I'm going to make a review after a week when I already know the first-week sales and it's peak position in the Oricon weekly since it's already my protocol ever since this 2008. And speaking of Oricon, "KILL" only managed to garner the #16 today at the daily charts. Rather low, no? PSI-missing was more of a strong.

And lastly, speaking of PSI-missing, it's still in the top 50+ charts...

1st week - #14 - 9,623 copies sold
2nd week - #39 - 2,927 copies sold

2 weeks sales = 12,550 copies

I don't know it's position in the Oricon weekly this week but according to my sources, PSI-missing is still lurking in the #45 position so probably, it'll be still in the #50+ or #60+ this week. Be strong, PSI-missing!! >,<

PSI-missing goes up to #11!

YEAH!! You read it right!! Unexpectedly, PSI-missing goes up two positions and made it to #11 tonight!! Yes, folks this is really is it!!! XDDDD;; *gets shot*

I like the instrumental version of PSI-missing. The song has such nice synths that it made me repeat it all the way I want it! Way to go Nakazawa Tomoyuki-sama!! *HAILS JOO* XD

Looks like the single will do just fine. Hope it will sky-rocket to #1! Well I shouldn't be daydreaming of the impossible. But maybe at least it will enter the top 10. :D

MELLSCOPE didn't do any much good in the Oricon daily but still peaked the #13 position (except the fact that it debuted at #4 in the daily charts) in the weekly so hoping that PSI-missing will do much greater, nee? And since the failure of master groove circle, I've should produce more quality-wise singles such as this one.

Oh and speaking of MELLSCOPE, I just remembered I haven't posted the video of her SCOPE. in my mutiply. So here is low resolution video.

The song is great but the PV is uber boring. -o-;
