Getting over this week

First of all, I would like to congratulate Pi-Pi-Pi for winning the I've Sound Karaoke Contest although I'm aware that she won't be able to read this one.

Okay, so after a week full of anticipated release (refer to the singles I've said in one of my earlier posts), this week will have another big downloads for me. Yeah, although it may not be big for some, but for me, it's already this big because of my HDD problem.

And before I post my anticipated singles/albums this week, I'll display the result of the first-week sales of the last week's anticipated singles/albums:

For now, I'm listening to ALI PROJECT's Poison album and will make a review after a proper listen to all of the songs. But I'll be giving a hint that there's a high probability that I will give this album a high five rate because of the songs. I'm liking all of them and the album is much greater than their previous album Kinsho since most of the songs here in their new album are quite upbeat and experimental -- and they fitted.

Just wanted to spam on my blog since I just checked the Oricon dailies for tonight. And I was shocked that all of my anticipated singles/albums are all there. AS IN ALL!!! o,O But I'm not quite sure if they will remain in the top 30's in the next few days but at least, they debuted higher than expected. XD Here's what I saw:

Will you just look at that?! alan's single @ #3 this week in the Oricon weekly? I don't know anything 'bout her (since she's not on my watchlist) but according to jpopmusic forums, she's not that famous and yet she gained #1 @ the Oricon daily I don't know when but I just know this week only that's why she was pulled @ #3 at the weekly. But look at it's miserable sales!! O_o that's the first time I saw a #3 single w/ onlya pprox of 12,000+ sales! O.o The gap of the #2 and #3 singles are almost half.

I also feel sorry for BONNIE PINK and Eiko Shimamiya as well!!! Such measly sales. Nah, I don't want to say anymore just wanted to rant and share my emotion.

About the Oricon daily, don't ask. It's flopping a bit probably because of lack of promotions of the single. Haven't seen a 15sec. CM uploaded somewhere plus the people at IMS only uploaded it today (or last night?). Here is the current position of the single...

↑35 -- Saturday

OoOh it's really flopping. I'm having a hunch it'll only position itself lower than #30 this coming Wednesday. ~~

Gyaah! It's already 4:30am in my watch and my Kara no Tsubomi PV hasn't finished its download. Damn you, jsharer! -__-; Daikirai!!

In a rather late news, the I've Sound 10th Anniversary「Departed to the future」 Special CD BOX ended up at #43 in the Oricon top 300 weekly charts this week selling only 3,838 copies. Like what hikaruhoshi said, it's not really that worth buying that's why it only sold a bit few than expected. Plus the expense you'll incur just by ordering it. It's a headache! =.=' How I wish I was that rich that I could afford few copies so that I could give some to my friends. TT___TT

And if you think this CD Box was epic fail, you could've guess that IKU's Yuauea flopped at #91 this week selling only 1,929 copies. But the album explains why it only got that position. It's too poppish and cheesy. Only a number of songs are classified as good and unique.

As they also flop, my life is also a flop with this feeling of envious because my friends have already graduated ahead of me while I entered tertiary life earlier than them. -__- It's a total degradation because of my pathetic situation at school. If only they prioritized me... Ugh, I'm kinda sick of this life. If I would be asked, I really want to break free with school life for the meantime but then again, I only have one subject left and I should finish it this summer so that I could graduate as well -- but what's worse is I'm too tired. But I'm not saying I'm not going to take it this summer. I just wished that vacation was a bit longer because in just a short span of time, I'm still tired of school life.

Oh how I wish I could really finish this thesis within the summer. -___-;

masterpiece's sales - DISAPPOINTING!!

I've been disappointed with the singles/albums' sales lately especially the non-popular ones. Just look at the charts this week!!! O.O Even the #1 didn't even reach 100k sales!!! Then the gap for the 7th & 8th position we're almost half in amount!!! Is really the global financial crisis felt all over the world? I thought that was only here in the Philippines or in the USA. =.=;

And what's worse, Mami's 7th single only sold approximately 6,800 this week?! Despite having the #12 position?! FUCK!! Not to mention the gap between Dragon Ash's sales Kawada's sales. Akai Namida/Beehive was even higher by a bit with it's 6,862 sales at #21!? And even the disappointing first-week 9,623 sales of PSI-missing was even higher even if it only got the #14! ZOMG!?! This is so unacceptable. =X

But what I'm impressed with PSI-missing is that it is still charting for its 14th week and has already gained a good 21,300 sales which means this single was still much very loved by the others considering it's been charting for 14 weeks.

Random Note: Oh I see, Nana Kitade at #27 although with a very weak sales... But well it's a miracle Tsukihana entered top30 considering it's not that great as it sounds (plus the PV was kinda boring --- if you have watched it, you know what I mean. XP). I mean Jigoku Shoujo tie-ins are not much of a deal. And it has been a while since Kitade had her single in a rather "high" position which I think was almost 4 years ago?! DX No, I'm not kidding. I think her last top30 entry was Kanashimi no Kizu which was released July 20, 2005. XD Even Antoinette Blue (a D.Gray-Man tie-in) didn't save her from getting lower than top30. Random Trivia: I only know 4 I've singles who were able to stay @ top 30 on its second week. And these are:

I just checked out Mami's wiki page when suddenly I just noticed, the total sales for PSI-missing increased again!!! Even if he's not reading this, Hadji, the jpopmusic forums Oricon sales poster who is also a Filipino, THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!! FYI, Hadji's also the one editing the sales for Kawada in WikiTHEPPN but since it's kinda not working properly, I asked him a favor in the jpopmusic forums and truly, he updates it every 2 weeks. =D Lol, I wonder how he does it but great job. XD I hope he also does it to masterpiece once released.

from 18,581, it increased to 19,744 sales and charted for its 9th week!!! Amazing!! Looks like the 20,000 sales I'm looking forward will be made possible haha! *spazzes*

Random trivia, PSI-missing peaked @ #14 and charted for its 9th week (hope it'll still chart next week for its 10th week) and incurred almost 20,000 copies sold. While Virgin's high!/kicks! garnered #15 and also charted for 9 weeks and incurred an estimate of 20,000 copies so it's possible that the former will surpass the sales of the latter. Oh YEAH! Go Mami!!! =D *all cheers*

*whew* I'm finished with the masterpiece page on wiki. It's been a while since I updated Mami Kawada's page on wiki so before 2009 enters, I'm going to edit it big time since I'm the one who made the page in the first place! XP nyahaha! =D

I wonder how's PSI-missing's sales? Learning that it charted for it's 7th week (through Oricon), I wonder if it already reached 18k sales since the 17,409 total sales on wiki was for it's 6th week sales... While poor KILL already stopped charting for 2 weeks (which only garnered 3,403 sales). It's just proves that PSI-missing was more epic win than KILL. =3 Haha!

I also revamped Mami's fanlisting & fansite. Wait, I already told this on my previous posts?! Ah well, I'm just a little proud of myself although it looks simple, it's still piece of hard work. XD *wipes sweat on my forehead*

Next will be the ALI PROJECT fanlisting and the visual kei layout for my friend's multiply site. She asked me to make her a new layout. Maybe she visited my multiply page and saw the very reddish layout I made. XP Ah well, at times like this, I'd be pretty busy with layouts but I still appreciate it. =3 Now, to rest my eyes and do the layouts later. XD jaa~! I'm off to rest and eat soup and bread. XD

Yes! I thought PSI-missing will flop on the top 20 tonight due to the reason that it dropped from #11 going back to #13 last night but this night, it ranked higher by 1 making it to #12!! So much for staying at those positions... xD If this continues, surely the single will be at the range of #11 to #13 this coming Wednesday and I would like to know already the sales and it's weekly ranking!
