Mami Kawada once again on the spotlight!
After being sick for 3 days I'm back and I'm not going to elaborate on that matter because it's a horrendous matter. D: D: You're not going to like what I've gone through I swear. But now that I'm back, I'm proud to say that Mami Kawada is on my spotlight again! I'm definitely excited for her Prophecy single that I already made its english wiki page via here.
And now a larger single cover is now available!
Prophecy
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki
TV size version here.
Although a frame (song credits still not revealed) is not the ending theme for Shana S, anticipated theme song is now revealed:
All in good time

And the banner pic on Mami's Geneon Website has now changed!! Lovin' it!

New layout (again), and more on ALI PROJECT news and late KOTOKO 4th album tracklist
And once again, I changed my layout since I, myself was a bit dissatisfied w/ the iframe layout that I made. I'll make a better layout next time.(For those reading this somewhere, I'm referring to my main blog in blogger).
Anyway, on other news, the TV size for ALI PROJECT's upcoming single Senritsu no Kodomotachi is now available for hearing purposes (in low quality though). I'm not saying I'm liking the song very much because it does sound quite different from their previous works. It sounded odd actually. Plus it'll be having a PV. YES you read it right. Although it won't be included in the single since it'll be released in a regular CD-only version (w/ no DVD). Even the PV itself is quite odd, if I may say. The full PV version is already out in the ALI PROJECT Official Fanclub but as you can see, this beggar cannot afford to be a member there so I'll have to wait until someone will post in YouTube so I can only see the PV. And good thing moichispa from last.fm upped the PV preview of the song.
I'm still not liking it very much and I don't know if my perception about the song will change once I got the long version. Hopefully, it's coupling song Hell's Maria will be a great song.
Even the lengths of the songs in Poison are now available c/o JBook.
1(4:39) Poisoner
2(4:53) 処女懐胎、あるいは白骨塔より少女達は飛翔する
3(4:53) お毒味LADY
4(4:28) 阿芙蓉寝台
5(4:35) 極色一代女
6(4:48) Animals on the Earth
7(4:38) 上海繚乱ロマンチカ
8(4:46) 世紀末ゲネシス
9(4:58) この國の向こうに
10(3:45) discipline
Not much long *misses long-length songs* but having almost all in 4:00+ already makes me happy at least it won't be that short. Album will still be out on 08/26.
And also their upcoming "untitled" 26th single is now available in pre-ordering in Neowing and HMV. I'm surprised it'll still be under the Lantis music company again (although going back to the MellowHead sublabel and not GloryHeaven). As usual, all lyric and vocal credit goes to Arika-sama (Arika Takarano) and composition/arrangement credit goes to Mikiya Katakura.

Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra OP Theme Song
And in a rather late news, the tracklisting to KOTOKO's upcoming 4th album Epsilon no Fune is now available on her Geneon Website. Oh, and also the dumb PV preview for the so-uncute daily-daily Dream!, is now available there. If you don't want to be dumbfounded, then skip the automatic play. Immediately stop when you heard the streaming PV started.
1. リアル鬼ごっこ (Real Onigokko)
2. BLAZE
3. ハヤテのごとく! (Hayate no Gotoku!)
4. scene
5. ε~Epsilon~
6. RI←SU→KU
7. -∞-DRIVE
8. HELLION
9. Geoglyphs
10. 雨とギター (Ame to Guitar)
11. モネラの絆 (MONERA no Kizuna)
12. 限界打破 (Genkai Daha)
13. LITTLE BABY NOTHING
I'm glad KOTOKO will now have her 4th album and the tracklisting sounds promising. Hopefully, this will make-up for some of her "mishaps" lately (which I'm aware that it's not her entire fault). Will post the credits for the song as soon as it become available. Scheduled to be released on October 14, 2009.

daily-daily Dream!! TV size (clearer ver.) plus new KOTOKO album
Powered by Podbean.com
This is the TV size of daily-daily Dream!! which is KOTOKO's 13th single and used as the 2nd OP theme for Hayate no Gotoku! Second Season. Not very powerful and denpatastic compared to Shichitenhakki Shijoushugi but it suits as the opening theme. But I just wished that C.G mix should've come up with a more stronger one. o_o
And finally, KOTOKO's upcoming 4th album (finally after almost 3 years) イプシロンの方舟 (Ipsilon no Fune, Ark of the Epsilon) will be released on October 14, 2009 which will contain the singles Real Onigokko, BLAZE and Hayate no Gotoku!. No further information but its catalog number would be GNCV-0014. Hopefully they would come up with some more better tracks since most of the I've girls' releases are majority disappointment.

Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ OP/ED
感情: hungry~~
音楽: "Kioku no Mori" - FictionJunction YUUKA
Now that I have completed the I've Sound 10th Anniversary CD Box including its scans (thanks to KuroiYuki-chan! :D) and the anime shows that I ought to download (To Aru Majutsu no Index and Clannad After Story), I can already concentrate on other anime! XD Which are Pandora Hearts (which I posted that I will watch 2 months ago) and another anime Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~. The former still haven't got any fansubbers so I anticipated the latter would already have -- and it didn't fail me. XD
And so here's the OP/ED for Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ anime series.

To Aru ED2 up!
感情: just woke up
音楽: "Ko no me Kaze" - IKU
誓い言 ~スコシだけもう一度~ (TV size)
Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~
Lyrics: IKU
Composition: IKU
Arrangement: Kazuya Takase
I'd say this one's much better than Rimless ~Fuchinashi no Sekai~. This ED theme is much more relaxing and soothing. This also much better than Ko no me Kaze. XD The long version will be out this coming Wednesday, February 25, 2009 which is the same date as Eiko Shimamiya's Super scription of data. I'd just comment that IKU is fond of having long titles. O_O And she has uniform single covers... XD Ko no me Kaze -- summer, Rimless Fuchinashi no Sekai -- autumn and now, Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~ -- winter.

Tracklisting for Chikaigoto single:
1. Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~
2. Yurari Haru (Arrangement: Kaoru Ookubo)
3. Chikaigoto ~Sukoshi Dake Mou Ichido~ -Instrumental-
4. Yurari Haru -Instrumental-

Super scription of data (TV size) up!

感情: my head hurts yet feeling energetic
音楽: "Naraku no Hana" - Eiko Shimamiya
Super scription of data is now available -- for listening. XD Sorry if I was kinda late. I just returned to reality and I was out for the last 3 days.
Credits:
Lyrics: Eiko Shimamiya
Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase
When I heard the preview, I was really damn sure that Takase will be the one doing the composition and arrangement. The usage of electric guitars were identical to his likings plus the intro was somewhat striking and unique. I like it but really don't like the chorus part. Hopefully the long version will be much better.
The long version will be out next week --- February 25. And for those who don't know, this will be the OP theme for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei (lit. When the Cicadas Cry Solutions).

Kioku (TV size) - Younha feat. GOKU up!
Due to my friend kieyuku's request for the TV size rip of RIDEBACK's ending theme, I ripped it through high-quality video from YouTube.
Kioku (TV size) by Younha feat. GOKU
This song is also good although it's not Younha's best... It's very... sensual compared to a pop-rock Houki Boshi but nonetheless it's still considered good music. I couldn't hear GOKU's voice though nor I know what his part on this song is.
I just noticed that Younha left Sony Records and went to Sistus Records instead. Oh no, that IS a bad move. Knowing Sachi Tainaka and Jyukai's sales, tsk, tsk. But I can't blame her though, and instead I'd rather blame Sistus (who have the same poor strategy as Geneon -- the former is a subsidiary of the latter, I guess). Younha is talented, yes. But I noticed she's not all famous right now unlike when she had the Bleach tie-in.
I guess such tie-ins truly brings out of the best of you, no? But it's not always the case, I know of some other artists that didn't shine despite of a "heavy" anime tie-ins (good example of this is, HALCALI's Long Kiss Goodbye which was used as the 7th ED for Naruto Shippuuden).

Rara Eve Shinseiki (TV size) is up!
sentiment: cramming
harmony: "Uninstall" by Chiaki Ishikawa
As usual cramming with my thesis but still I won't be able to sleep if I won't post this one! ;D
It's not as great as the songs they've released in the past years but still, it's likeable. :D I'm still anticipating for the B-side of the single. :D
FYI, this song is the opening theme for the newly aired anime series Sora Kake Girl (Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo). I haven't watched it but a kind person posted in the ALI PROJECT page of last.fm that it has been posted in YouTube. Want to watch it?

RIDEBACK TV size up!
sentiment: excited
harmony: "RIDEBACK (TV size)" by MELL
Or you can download my low quality rip of the TV size here. =)
Well for me this one's much "decent" and tolerable than "KILL" so I like this one better. XD As usual, filled with Engrish-y lyrics but I really like the song. XD And it has a trance-y intro which gives back the ol' I've spirit. It's not all bouncy as I thought since the "denpa-like" part was just the chorus -- nothing in the first part.
I'd say Kazuya Takase did a great job with the song. Haha! Go MELL! X3

Masterpiece low quality TV size up, RIDEBACK info, and other news
harmony: "masterpiece (TV size)" by Mami Kawada
Yesh, this is what I'm waiting for before the year ends! A preview of masterpiece!! I uploaded the low quality TV size of masterpiece here.
I ripped it in the link that hikaru linked on his post at the I've Sound blog so please do mind the ramblings of Yuka Iguchi (the seiyuu of Index) and someone I don't recognize (maybe Rina Satou?). XD
PS: It sounded real different from some of Iuchi's works and I really liked it! xD It doesn't sound like an I've Sound work but it's something different but you can trace that this is certainly Iuchi's work since she's the one who usually goes into high-tempo beat techno songs. It's not as noisy as seduce *whew*.
PLUS: Information on MELL's 5th single
RIDEBACK
lyrics: MELL
Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase
release on March 4, 2009
So the cute & bouncy opening theme for the anime series RIDEBACK will also have the same title -- erhmm, will this be the 2009 version of her cutest song FLY TO THE TOP? xD We'll see after the TV size has been aired!
And another news, even the unreleased Super scription of data for the OVA Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei has been released, Eiko Shimamiya will have her tie-in once again (for the nth time) for the movie release of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Chikai, the sequence for the live-action movie for Higurashi no Naku Koro ni this year. The song will be titled Chikai and we still don't know if it will come out as a single nor the credits for the song.

BLAZE/sociometry TV sizes are up!
sentiment: bored
harmony: "siren" by Kotoko
| Powered by eSnips.com |
I'm not expecting the TV sizes will be up on the 16th episode of Shakugan no Shana II. o_o I thought it will be on the next episode! *demmet* But anyway, thanks to one of my sources, I already have my copy of BLAZE and sociometry TV sizes! For those who didn't know, these songs are the next opening & ending themes for Shakugan no Shana II both performed by none other than I've Sound singer, Kotoko. It will be her 11th single under the production of I've Sound and Geneon Entertainment and is scheduled to be released on March 12, 2008. This will be the first maxi single that Geneon and I've will release on this year and this will be Kotoko's 2nd tie-in with the anime series.
1. BLAZE (Lyrics: Kotoko; Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase)
2. sociometry (Lyrics: Kotoko; Composition/Arrangement: C.G mix)
BLAZE, according to aibublog, is something that is very "trancey" which will be dispersed throughout the single. Yes! I expected so much and I was even excited to hear this song! But when I heard the song, to tell you the truth, I was disappointed a bit. =/ It's not something as powerful as JOINT and being. The introduction was not that great but it gets better as you get to the chorus. The techno-ish sound in the intro was fabulous but the overall impact is just average. Upon hearing Kotoko's voice, the first thing that ran through my mind, "Is this slow denpa?" Well primarily because she was using a little "childish" voice but her voice changed as the song goes on. Song is good, but not as great as JOINT. I'd say, Kazuya Takase disappointed my taste again. (-___-)
sociometry, on the other hand, was more amusing and upbeat than BLAZE. It's odd since this is the ending theme and I like this one better. The synths are way better and the tempo is faster. Typically identical to some of C.G mix's arrangements and I like it. Starts off with a rather interesting sound with a minimal-sound techno that gets louder and slow pace but it gets faster after several seconds. The melody is like a combination of Crazy For You -CLUB MIX- and Welcome to HEAVEN! -Remix- both by C.G mix but the difference is Kotoko's the one singing. Great, overall. I recommend this one!
