My opinion on the upcoming I've Sound releases

Hmm it has come to the point that I've Sound is going to release three weeks in a row! And it really intrigues me who's going to get most of the sales and recognition... Is it:

- KOTOKO's Loop-the-Loop single? [10/20 out]
- MELL's MIRAGE album? [10/27 out]
- Mami Kawada's No buts! single? [11/03 out]

KYAAAH! Mami made my day!! (~^,^)

After what it seems to be a ranting day, after I checked twitter, this one really surprised me!!!

Toaru Majutsu no Index Season 2 OP/ED TV sizes

AH YES! This is what I was waiting for. The 15sec preview of No buts! is just too short for me and it's a good thing a longer preview for both the theme songs for the upcoming Index season 2 are now out! Thanks to A&G Anisupa for that! =D

To give a proper info (for those who didn't know) — To Aru Majutsu no Index II will start airing on October 8, 2010. And of course, my fave I've Sound girl Mami Kawada will do the opening theme entitled No buts! while Geneon newbie Maon Kurosaki will do the ending theme entitled Magic∞world. And here are the previews (which are most likely the TV size versions)

As for the single information:

Mami Kawada - LINKAGE review

Okay so after a month and a half of listening to Mami Kawada's latest album entitled LINKAGE, I think I'm ready enough to give words about each songs on it. But just like what I've said I can't promise that the Mami-fanboy inside of me will be too bias for this review. ;p haha. Just kidding. I'll do my best to review this one.

1. succession
2. CLIMAX
3. PSI-missing
4. TOY
5. Kotoba, Kokoro no Koe (言葉、心の声)

Look who's back from the slums of Beverly Hills?

Well, it's just me, FRED ITACHI who's back from the blogging world. Though I can't say I'm totally back for good but after an unintentional and long hiatus, I think my blogging spirit is getting back to me should I say?

Okay, so I didn't post for like 5 months but do you think I abandoned my fandoms? I don't think so. =p

Probably, I'm going to review ELISA's Rouge Adolescence, Mami Kawada's LINKAGE and Kalafina's Red Moon in the next few days so I hope my followers (if any) and friends got to read this one. Since I haven't been posting, expect that my style of expression would be a bit different or like it's lacking something. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to work on it. XD And so coming up for review next time:

[P.S.: Sorry if my layout is not something I really made. I'm just not in the mood to make a layout for myself. =p but I still made the new banner.]

Mami for another eroge!

Yes!! Finally after some moments, Mami got another eroge tie-up!

It will be from the eroge 恋と選挙とチョコレート (Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate, Love and Election and Chocolate) by sprite.

Here are the credits:

INITIATIVE
lyrics/vocals: Mami Kawada
composition/arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
(will be out in 2010)

Don't know what to think for now, since there are no previews yet. But seeing Nakazawa doing this, I'm NOT that sure if it will turn out something good remembering his works nowadays (which ranges from medium to mediocre quality of songs) but I'll still look forward on this. That's because it's MAMI is the one we're talking about here. :P

Mami Kawada once again on the spotlight!

After being sick for 3 days I'm back and I'm not going to elaborate on that matter because it's a horrendous matter. D: D: You're not going to like what I've gone through I swear.

But now that I'm back, I'm proud to say that Mami Kawada is on my spotlight again! I'm definitely excited for her Prophecy single that I already made its english wiki page via here.

And now a larger single cover is now available!

Prophecy
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki

TV size version here.

Although a frame (song credits still not revealed) is not the ending theme for Shana S, anticipated theme song is now revealed:

All in good time
vocals/lyrics: Mami Kawada
composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki

TV size version here.

And the banner pic on Mami's Geneon Website has now changed!! Lovin' it!

That's about for the news about her! And I'm listening to her more and more... Probably she'll be on my last.fm top one artist in a week. :P

Prophecy details, SCREW preview also available

Sudden news coming up after another and so I'm going to post this one.

First, Mami Kawada's 8th single Prophecy which will be used as the opening theme to Oct.23-airing OVA of long-time anime tie-up Shakugan no Shana. Cover and coupling song has been revealed though no song credits have been released. I'd say she's always been in a dark room/place in PVs and covers no?

Prophecy
Mami Kawada 8th single
GNCV-0007~8
2009.11.18 OUT

01. Prophecy (Shakugan no Shana S OP)
02. a frame
03. Prophecy -instrumental-
04. a frame -instrumental-

I'm liking the song. :D Although it's not as rockier than Hishoku no Sora and JOINT. Or maybe the intro will be something good. XDDD; TomoyukixTakeshi for this one probably since they're the ones for the first two Shana openers (w/ exception of Hishoku no Sora in w/c Nakazawa did it alone). The PV for Prophecy is also on Mami's Geneon Website.

And I ripped the preview of KOTOKO's 14th single SCREW from the new trailer of Assault Girls. ":D I admit I was rather shocked that it was a techno track rather than a dark rock.

ε~Epsilon~PV preview available, Shana S ED (?) teaser also available

WOW MORE I'VE SOUND PREVIEWS!!!! *bricked* I'll be smack up for uploading videos that much. But I just wanted to share this in the world as well. HEY THIS IS WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISING, ya know! :P

Oh well the first video is some sort of teaser of Shakugan no Shana S ending theme (which is untitled for now) which is also sung by Mami Kawada. It is not upbeat so I'm presuming this one's the ending theme and not Prophecy. And from the sounds of it, I hunch that this one's by Takase. I'm liking it because it doesn't sound boring and all -- just light-hearted pop-rock of some sort.

And this second video is the PV preview for KOTOKO's PV for her upcoming album entitled ε~Epsilon~. And IT DOESN'T DISAPPOINT!!!! @_@ I'M TOTALLY LOVING IT!!! IT'S SO TRANCE-Y!!! XDD The PV preview is also available on her Geneon Website but since you're already here, might as well not go there and press the play button, nee? *bricked by KOTOKO for straying off her website visitors*

This one sounds just like Re-sublimity-Agony dance track!!! I'm hypnotized by it!!! @___@ DEFINITELY, IT IS A HIGH RECOMMENDED one. XDDD; From the sounds of it, it looks like it'll be Takase as well because it's a higher-tempo version of Mami Kawada's epic song TRILL.

Mami Kawada's 8th single confirmed, Kalafina's 6th single coupling song revealed, C.G mix's "true eyes" short version available for hearing

YES FINALLY AFTER SOME EONS!!! [゚д゚]

Everyone (who has money! *bricked*) could now avail through pre-order, Mami Kawada's 8th single entitled Prophecy through Amazon!

I think it's the Opening Theme for the Shakugan no Shana S which will be her fifth tie-in over-all with the series. :D The coupling song will be the ending theme (which is untitled for now) for the same series. Well just like the JOINT single format nee? But will this be equally as great as JOINT? I don't know but I'll keep you posted here whenever a preview comes up! ;D

And in other news, the coupling song for Kalafina's upcoming 6th single entitled progressive is now revealed! It is entitled Utsukushisa and it is rumored that Wakana will do the main vocals on this one! Another dark song! Info courtesy of canta-per-me.net. ;D

DVD:
1. progressive PV
2. love come down,Ongaku and Mata Kaze ga Tsuyokunatta Live video (from Kalafina Closed Premium Live on May 19th)
3. TV programme”utatane” on July 18th (Kalafina version)

And the short version for C.G mix's true eyes is now available for hearing! WARNING: NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE YAOI. XD (Well I don't like it either... I just closed my eyes while listen to the music. :P)

Here's the ripped short version of the song (for those who don't want to watch).

And some unsure news but I read in ivemusic.net that there will be a ひとりごと2009ver which will also be contained in KOTOKO's 4th album Epsilon no Fune. Sorry, I already used google translate but the translation was kinda shitty and vague so I'm not kinda sure about that but definitely there will be a hitorigoto 2009 ver. (^ ^)

need help with some gawd'awful lyrics. o_o

And here I am, stumbling again in my own room when I realized that I still don't have the lyrics for Mami Kawada's latest eroge theme song platinum. That's when the idiot tried transcribing the lyrics because did not upload a lyric booklet from the Mechamimi Original Soundtrack.
And crap, it's not easy to transcribe Mami's songs! (゜Д゜;≡;゜Д゜) She may have a great voice but it's not that clear and that's exactly, all of I've Sound fans had a hard time transcribing The Maze because it's pure engrish. ( ̄◇ ̄;)
Okay, here's the effort:

Mami for Shana OVA, I've Sound not for OP/ED themes for To Aru Railgun

Yay for this news! I was praying that Mami Kawada will do the theme song for Shakugan no Shana S and it did come true! I've Sound Database already confirmed this news! No title, credits and releasing date though but it is confirmed that it'll be Mami for both OP/ED songs and will come out in a single. :D More news will come up once some news will be revealed. ;D

On other news, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, the sort-of sequel to the I've-Sound-managed anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index, will still be managed by I've but through music production only (meaning the BGMs and not the OP/ED themes) in which Maiko Iuchi holds responsible once again. As for the OP/ED themes:

"only my railgun" by fripSide -- OP
"Dear my friend -Madaminu Mirai e-" by ELISA -- ED (yes!!! finally ELISA!!!)

As you can see, no I've on the theme songs but who knows? Maybe the 2nd OP/ED will another by Mami Kawada!!! XDDD *bricked* or anyone in the I've Sound group probably... AND I'M ALSO EXCITED FOR ELISA!!!! YAY!! AJKWQYBWJCYTWVDSUW I'll be reaching to you ELISA! =D

For the love of Mami. XD

感情: onakahetta~
音楽: "β-Nendo no Hoshi" - KOTOKO

Ahh I just love the song. :D It hasn't played in my playlist for a long time and I missed hearing this song of hers. Lurrvve it to pieces! XD

Okay enough babbling. I just wanted to share my love and dedication for my fave I've Sound singer Mami Kawada because inspiration struck me (awww! *then sparkling eyes*) to edit her English wiki article. 8D If you notice her history is NAO longer plus it has been divided into 3: Which is the Debut, SEED era, SAVIA era, and lastly 2008 and beyond. Well I just expounded on her chronologies because I was not very much in the mood to make a longer history last time (that explains why there's only one part in her history part, nee? *BRICKED*).

Plus, I made a separate article for Mami's discography!!!! YAY!!! 8DD But just right after I made the article (not more than 3 minutes), some bad mod labeled it as "unreferenced"! I want to spank that guy really if I were to meet him (or her?) in person! The article was just there for less than 3 minutes then you're going to negate my effort by labeling it as "unreferenced"?! Then why didn't you tagged it when it had no separate article?!? Are you giving me a damn shit out of my effort! Of course I'm going to add references and all but you've just gave me a reason to abandon my work and left it "unreferenced" when you tagged it!!! DD; I RLY DAMN HATE YOUU!!! DX

*wipes sweat* Now that I have released my anger, I could eat my midnight snack now. Tata~ Sorry for ranting this much , can't really help it. x__X

Mechamimi OP song revealed!

Just like what I indicated in my last post, the demo movie for the eroge Mechamimi will be revealed today/tonight and the title of the Mami Kawada OP theme will be:

platinum
Lyrics: Mami Kawada
Composition/Arrangement: Maiko Iuchi

AND YES IT'S NOT DENPA!!! xD *thank God I'm wrong!* It's not all great but it's also not that bad! It sorta reminds me of masterpiece but a slower version and minus the noisy electric guitar though but the synths were a plus for me and it's not plain unlike fickle. I think Maiko Iuchi did fair for this one! And here's the short version of platinum.

And here's a download link for the song. =D

Kaorin Mini-album on its way!

感情: sleepy
音楽: "Senecio -Album Mix" - Kaori Utatsuki

While I am downloading ELISA's Wonder Wind, I just found out that Kaori Utatsuki will be having her first mini-album with I've and Geneon! For goodness' sake! I thought they won't have a thought on her releasing an album but I'm just wondering why only a mini-album?Ö Anyway, here's the details:

Untitled (1st Mini-Album) [will come up with a limited DVD edition]
Kaori Utatsuki

* Catalog Number: GNCV-1009
* Format: CD
* Release Date: 2009/08/05
* Amount: 2625円(Tax included)

And the demo movie for Mechamimi will be released this May 22, and I'm kinda curious if the Mami Kawada OP theme will be heard. XD

Will post more details soon if it becomes available. ;D

L'Oiseau bleu single confirmed!

感情: O.o'
音楽: N/A

I'll just share the info because I'm a bit surprised to know that Mami Kawada's song for I've Sound's 10th Anniversary CD Box L'Oiseau bleu will be released as a single!!! O.o'

The single will be released on June 24, 2009 with a CD+DVD edition (GNCV-0017). And there's still no coupling song yet.

http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0027BT1AK/finalion-22/ref=nosim

No single cover as well. xO My impression? Maybe it'll chart lower than expected since we all know it's one of the most forgettable songs in the CD Box. Ö But hopefully whoever or whatever the coupling song is, I hope it'll save this single. x__X Or maybe if C.G mix could "re-arrange" this song, the better!

But if you let me choose what I will buy (if ever I have the money) if Eiko's Super scription of data or Mami's L'Oiseau bleu, the answer is surprisingly, the latter! Didn't really like the Higurashi Rei OP. :O

Another eroge theme song for Mami Kawada!

感情: full~~ just ate lunch
音楽: "regret" - Mai Hoshimura

[untitled]
Lyrics: Mami Kawada
Composition/Arrangement: Maiko Iuchi
Theme song for: Candysoft's eroge Mechamimi [OP]

So what can I say? I'm excited as usual. :3 But I hope it's not too cutesy an eroge theme song because as I see it, it will be -- knowing it'll be Maiko Iuchi to compose/arrange. Yes, I think she's the one who composed/arranged for all eroge theme songs for last year (with exemption of KOTOKO's bumpy-Jumpy!) and for this year. I hope it's not too hyperactive like Stars Biscuit, Joushiki! Butler Koushinkyoku etc. Another masterpiece won't hurt but at least a new material would be amazing.

And come to think of it, Mami Kawada's last eroge tie-in was last 2007 with Soshite Asu no Sekai Yori. So it's been a long time, nee? And to think of, Iuchi also composed/arranged return to that place while Takase did For our days.

And some other news, Mami's fan club m.a.l.l will have a fan club event this year which will be held on Tokyo and Osaka!!! *spazz* Oh how I wish I could go there, but looking at my purse, it'll really be impossible plus the fact that I'm not a member of her fan club. =_='

HYDIAN WAY (w/ vocals)

Although the pitch for the instrumental (which was released way earlier) than this one but definitely it does sound better with the vocals. And it even got longer! From 5:48 instrumental it became 6:53 w/ vocals! xDD;; Uplifting and cheerful than See You ~Chiisana Eien~ and as much as I expect it, Tenjou wo Kakeru Monotachi was still much better. I assume KOTOKO did the lyrics for this one.

Departed to the Future songs credit

As much as I expected, me and KuroiYuki-chan's guesses are almost absolutely wrong but she has a higher score than me because I changed my answer on MELL's song credits. xD *gets kicked by Yuki-chan*

STATUS EDITED as of 03/29

Anyway, here's the REAL credits. XD

L'Oiseau bleu
Lyrics: Mami Kawada
Composition/Arrangement: C.G mix

Lyrics: KOTOKO
Composition/Arrangement: Maiko Iuchi
(That explains why I don't like the song that much. x_x)

Paranoia
Lyrics: Eiko Shimamiya
Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase
(We were right about this!)

Kara no Tsubomi
Lyrics: MELL
Composition: C.G mix
Arrangement: C.G mix and Takeshi Hoshino (which happens to be Mami's live guitarists) -- status edited!
(And this is where I committed my greatest mistake!)

end of refrain ~Chiisana Hajimari~
Lyrics: KOTOKO
Composition: Tomoyuki Nakazawa
Arrangement: Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Takeshi Ozaki
(The most unexpected reality! XD haha! That's why my inner conscience is telling me to like it. XP)

Oh and here are the PV previews. Well, one thing's for sure. Kara no Tsubomi is no no vain. XD

Random I've Sound trivias/facts

感情: hungry
音楽: "Kopperia no Hitsugi" - ALI PROJECT

DISCLAIMER: This post doesn't contain ALL trivias/facts regarding I've Sound. I'm just going to post the facts that I only know. If there are infos that I don't know or you would like to add, please inform me! :D I'd be more than happy if you enlighten me with more infos plus I'll credit you. xD

Now, let's start!

DID YOU KNOW THAT...

1. the most highest first-week sales of I've Sound single is 25,499 copies? Which is KOTOKO's 2nd single Re-sublimity while the single with the weakest first-week sales is MELL's 4th single KILL with only 2,664 copies sold.

2. the I've single with the longest charting week is Eiko Shimamiya's debut single Higurashi no Naku Koro ni? It charted for 26 weeks. While the shortest charting week is still MELL's 4th single KILL which only stayed at the Oricon top 200 charts for only 2 weeks.

3. the most successful (I meant highest ranking, not highest sales) I've single ever released was KOTOKO's 5th single being which garnered the #4 spot on its first week. Although that was the case, did you know that the least successful I've single as of now is also by KOTOKO? And it's her recent released sleepy single U Make Ai Dream which only debuted at #46. (But if we're talking about an "all-time" single, the lowest will be Shooting Star at #62).

4. the longest I've Sound song of all time is Eiko Shimamiya's Sukarabe no Inori -Brown Sugar Style- from her EP hologram. It's length is 8:51. But if we're talking about an original song (meaning it's not a remix), the longest would be Eiko Shimamiya's O with a length of 8:03. Despite the shortest title I've had came up, it holds the longest non-remix song of all time. While the shortest song would be Mami Kawada's 4th single Get my way! with a length of 2:56.

5. the longest original title (meaning there's no  "-Remix-" or any other name of a person who remixed it or whatsoever) that I've made was KOTOKO's song Mighty Heart ~Aru Hi no Kenka, Itsumo no Koigokoro~ with 40 letters on it (special/punctuational characters not included) while the shortest title is Eiko Shimamiya's O.

6. I've Sound's first movie/live-action tie-in was Real Onigokko? The song made for the said movie was performed by KOTOKO with the same title as the movie.

7. that the first I've girl was actually MELL and not KOTOKOMELL and I've Sound King Kazuya Takase are already acquainted with each other even before I've was created. However, at that time, MELL is still using her pseudonym Orihime and it was changed to MELL when I've was formed way back 1998. And according to an interview when MELL will be guesting at a concert in Texas a few years ago, it was actually Takase who gave her the name MELL which came from her pet dog named Mellmo. She asked why gave that name but Takase just persisted it and unbelievably, she used it! Until right now, her real name is still a mystery.

8. I've Sound girls had a rather "private" profile? Speaking of mysteries, their real names were never revealed and even their birth years. What's with the hiding of personal information?

9. the first I've girl to sign into a recording label was actually KOTOKO and not MELL? KOTOKO was the first to sign a recording contract to Geneon on 2004, followed by Mami Kawada (2005), Eiko Shimamiya (2006), MELL (2006), and Kaori Utatsuki (2007). Although the same year, Eiko Shimamiya was still the first to sign since her debut single Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was released 3 weeks before MELL's debut single Red fraction.

10. the most successful and highest selling I've Sound album of all time was KOTOKO's 2nd album Garasu no Kaze? It garnered the #6 position and had a total sales of approximately 48,000 copies. The least successful and least sold album was Eiko Shimamiya's 2nd album Hikari Nadeshiko. It only reached #27 and sold only 7,333 copies.

11. the I've girl who has the most multiple tie-in of only one series was Eiko Shimamiya? From her debut album to her future 5th single, it is all tie-in with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series.

12. (c/o KuroiYuki88) according to their official profile in Geneon's website, the tallest member of Love Planet Five is Mami Kawada with 158cm (some says its 159cm) height, and the shortest is KOTOKO with 150cm. However, recently KOTOKO wrote in her blog, saying that she grew 2cm taller than the official one. So if we count this as true, then Kaori Utatsuki will be the shortest member with 151cm.

13. Madonna is actually one of MELL's idols (according to the same interview mentioned above) that's why if you see the Promotional Video (PV) for no vain, it's somewhat similar to Madonna's video for Frozen. Similar location, same color setting, similar clothing etc.

Hmm this is all that I can think of right now. I'll add up if something comes up from my mind squeezing. XP nyahaha!
