for Kotoko

Kotoko's full version for BLAZE is now available although in a very low quality...

http://music.fenbei.com/11055858

I can't access Nicovideo so I search for another source. Well my impression on the song changed a little... The intro and some instrumental parts were indeed good but her voice is still not so good on the first part... I find it inappropriate, I don't know why. Im hoping for the full chorus version of Sociometry to be much better.

A higher quality single cover of Blaze is now available. She looks like an officewoman. xD

For Mami Kawada

sentiment: excited
harmony: "Kohaku" by Kotoko

It looks like I'm wrong... xD But let's open the possibility that there will be a "Savia" song on Mami's upcoming album but it's not going to have a PV but rather a song called portamento will have the PV (for a change). The PV preview is now available on her Geneon Website.

I'm exciyed because it sounds very great. I love it! Can't wait for it's full version!! XD And the banner for her website looks very neat. xD A new image! XD I'm betting either Tomoyuki Nakazawa or Kazuya Takase was the one who composed & arranged it but eitherway, it's great. xD *can't wait for March 26*

SAVIA DVD Cover

wow I had a chance to post again but as usual, I'm in a hurry again because I still have a class from 6:00-7:30pm and I just sneaked in here at our e-Commerce class. Btw, amazon is really amazing. They already have the DVD cover for Mami Kawada's 2nd album "SAVIA" while Mami's Geneon Website still has "Now Printing..." O_O

Looks like more of a wheel of paper surrounded by aluminum wires. xD Looks a bit artistic in a sense. I should be expecting that if ever there will be a track called "Savia", it will be pop-rockish more upbeat than her "Seed" since it's already a plant.

Happy Birthday to I've Diva!

This is going to be real quick because my time's almost up in the PC shop (my PC got broke and we haven't fixed it yet) but before I log out, I just wanted to greet the I've Diva Mami Kawada a happy happy birthday! I wonder how old is she? XD~ Oh well may you be prosperous this year 2008! We, the fans of Mami and other I've Sound singers will continue to support you! ;)

Uh-huh, that's it. I have to go now! xD (Have to do this real quick since I'm in a hurry as well)

A Dosage of Cholera & Hepa

sentiment: haha!
harmony: "RAGE" by HARD STUFF featuring I've diva

I quote my friend: "Bili tayo ng hepa & cholera!" (in English: "Let's buy some hepa & cholera!"). I got lol'd when she kept insisting us to go to Mang Raul's to buy some chicken isaw (intestines) and some barbeque. And I went for it even if I have to cut my last class! XP I'm desperate at eating one because it has been a while since I last ate isaw and I really missed it. I even spazzed before we go because of extreme excitement. And my friend laughed at me probably because she haven't seen me doing such actions. *spazzes*

That classmate/friend of mine also told us that some of her friends in her previous school uses that term to buy street foods to simply insult the vendors. And yes, it can be very effective to harrass them. xP But we prefer not when we arrive there. We just used the phrase for fun. So what's with the title? Well, street foods just like grilled chicken intestines, barbeque, ears etc. are one of the main sources of cholera, hepa and other diseases here in the Philippines either because it's not cookoed properly or the (animal's) organs were not washed or cleaned thoroughly. But since it is delicious, some people wanted to take the risk (just like us! XP) But mind you (to the readers from other countries), not all street foods being sold by the vendors are not infected with such diseases. And we are pretty sure that the intestines and stuffs there at Mang Raul's are not infected. If it is, we should've been in the hospital right now. XD Besides, a little bacteria can't kill you. xP
And after filling the craveness for isaw and other street foods, we went straight home because it was already 6:30 PM. It's already out of the league to still attend class if you're already more than 30 minutes late. xP So we ended the day with a smile even if we'll have to cut our class. xP I didn't regret doing it haha!

More from Mami & Eiko

sentiment: happy/excited
harmony: "Light colors" by Lia

I know I'm already late to post this but Mami Kawada and Eiko Shimamiya's second album from I've Sound and Geneon already has a title! Mami's 2nd album is SAVIA which is a plant genus (according to good ol' Wiki) and it's quite connected with her debut album SEED. As much as I'm expecting, I think there will be a song entitled "Savia" on that album that can have the PV but it's just a premonition, I'm still not very sure but probably that's what going to happen. And lastly, it scopes her 3 latest singles which are Akai Namida/Beehive, Get my way!, and the epic win single JOINT. I think it's already been an SOP that a studio album covers 3 singles like SEED (which covers radiance, Hishoku no Sora
, and Face of Fact -RESOLUTION ver.- although the last single mentioned was a collaboration single with KOTOKO) but that's from almost all J-pop artist that I know except for Eiko Shimamiya who is just covering 1 single per album.

Eiko Shimamiya's 2nd album will be entitled "Hikari Nadeshiko" and it will be the second time (on her history) that her album only covers one single. If her album O has only the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni single, Hikari Nadeshiko will be only having her most successful single (to date) which is Naraku no Hana. And there is a high possibility that the said song will have the PV for the album (just like in the case of O album). I'm not looking forward much to this album since she didn't release H-game songs nor single [WHEEL OF FORTUNE (Unmei no Wa)'s release date is still indefinite] so definitely there will be new songs, new remixes (of older songs from her EP/mini-albums) most probably, or worst, simply repetition of songs (from her previous releases). But I still have high hopes for this one.

It's been a while...

sentiment: blah-blah. XD
harmony: "Galaxy" by Nana Katase

Wow, I missed posting RL situations. xD Lately, I found myself busy with my studies, gimmick with my friends (mostly bonding sessions which never happened before and unexpectedly, it happened to my surprise! xD) and some other things so I'm just posting reviews and some I've info. I didn't bug myself to post what happened the past few weeks but I'd say, it was amazing! Really real amazing because I never had a super bonding session with my so-called "real friends" for a while.

That bonding started last friday, in an unexpected encounter wherein, my friend Michelle didn't attend our Operations Research and then I met up with her just before I go home (after class) with my other friends Aby, Jen, Marian and Winona. They just arrived from Palms Country Club and brought lots and lots of food and it ended up gobbling them up (and I did the majority! :P since they already ate at Palms already). I can't tell exactly what happened why the "super bonding" started but it started as we pulled off another friend of ours to drink somewhere in Alabang Town Center. And yes he treated us but in one condition -- I will drink two glasses of booze. I think the main reason why it has to be this condition because Michelle told my other friends that I can drink brandy like I was just drinking water! XP (But I ended up having a hangover when I did that! XP) And so I told them, "Okay, no prob."

We situated ourselves at Gerry's Grill's bar and our generous friend ordered a beer tower (which we weren't able to finish in the end). And yes, we played the Killer-Killer game. To those who will lose the game (either by these situations: the police will lose if the killer will be able to kill the judge or the killer will lose if the police will be able to caught him/her on the spot), they will be asked by the winner. xD Yes, we were able to open up gossips, RL situations, outrageous experiences (including one night stands of those who experienced it before and the like) and some confessions. xP It was a very great day for me and I enjoyed every second of the moment because I got to know them better than usual. ^__^

Then Tuesday, we happen to talk somewhere and talked about love situations, gossips, backstabbers, plastics etc. And the following days, we were like that and I really like spending my time like that even if I were to go home late at night. xD But of course, that's not possible because my mom will get dead worried (Dead worried as if I'm just a 5-year older who got lost in the streets and wasn't able to grasp things on my own). It's a simple way of bonding -- we laughed, shared each other's sentiments, sympathy for what happened to them in the past, etc. It's like a part of learning wherein you'll be able to express what you want freely with no discretion and discrimination. And yes I'm indeed lucky that I have friends who are open, can wholly understand you. ^_^

At the end of the day, we were more comfortable and feeling light because we were able to release all the tensions and bad pressure toxins inside our body. xD I hope everyday we will be very productive like that. ^__^

BLAZE/sociometry TV sizes are up!

sentiment: bored
harmony: "siren" by Kotoko

Powered by eSnips.com

I'm not expecting the TV sizes will be up on the 16th episode of Shakugan no Shana II. o_o I thought it will be on the next episode! *demmet* But anyway, thanks to one of my sources, I already have my copy of BLAZE and sociometry TV sizes! For those who didn't know, these songs are the next opening & ending themes for Shakugan no Shana II both performed by none other than I've Sound singer, Kotoko. It will be her 11th single under the production of I've Sound and Geneon Entertainment and is scheduled to be released on March 12, 2008. This will be the first maxi single that Geneon and I've will release on this year and this will be Kotoko's 2nd tie-in with the anime series.

1. BLAZE (Lyrics: Kotoko; Composition/Arrangement: Kazuya Takase)
2. sociometry (Lyrics: Kotoko; Composition/Arrangement: C.G mix)

BLAZE, according to aibublog, is something that is very "trancey" which will be dispersed throughout the single. Yes! I expected so much and I was even excited to hear this song! But when I heard the song, to tell you the truth, I was disappointed a bit. =/ It's not something as powerful as JOINT and being. The introduction was not that great but it gets better as you get to the chorus. The techno-ish sound in the intro was fabulous but the overall impact is just average. Upon hearing Kotoko's voice, the first thing that ran through my mind, "Is this slow denpa?" Well primarily because she was using a little "childish" voice but her voice changed as the song goes on. Song is good, but not as great as JOINT. I'd say, Kazuya Takase disappointed my taste again. (-___-)

sociometry, on the other hand, was more amusing and upbeat than BLAZE. It's odd since this is the ending theme and I like this one better. The synths are way better and the tempo is faster. Typically identical to some of C.G mix's arrangements and I like it. Starts off with a rather interesting sound with a minimal-sound techno that gets louder and slow pace but it gets faster after several seconds. The melody is like a combination of Crazy For You -CLUB MIX- and Welcome to HEAVEN! -Remix- both by C.G mix but the difference is Kotoko's the one singing. Great, overall. I recommend this one!
