Futa*Ane song credits revealed!

I just recently found this information:

two HeaRt
Lyrics: KOTOKO
Composition/Arrangement: Maiko Iuchi
Vocals: Kirishima Airi (桐島愛里) <---- so is she the new I've girl?!

and SRSLY another Maiko Iuchi eroge track. I guess we should expect another cutesy-error type of song, nee? And is Airi Kirishima another one of Shimamiya-sensei's students? (: Or is my kanji right about her name?! :P haha! (Post edited)

Later then, I'll have to go w/ my best friend on her school activity. :D *goes off to the bathroom*

茜空 ~それがぼくらの世界だった~

Just finished uploading Unmeibito single and posting it on our LJ community. Join our community so that you'll see the older singles posted! =D haha!

As for the title, it's the full title of KOTOKO's latest eroge theme song, Akanesora ~Sore ga Bokura no Sekai Datta~ but that's according to the booklet. Feel free to edit the tags w/ either this title or Akanesora only.

You can download the song here.

The song itself is a ballad and it's composition/arrangement from C.G mix. If you ask me if I like it or not -- yes, I like it because even though it's a ballad, it doesn't sound bland like the oh-so-mighty daily-daily Dream. The song is soothing to my ballad-thirsty ears. XD Haha! Sounds like a bit of Koe ga Todoku Nara which is one of my fave ballads way back on Hane album.

Getting over this week

First of all, I would like to congratulate Pi-Pi-Pi for winning the I've Sound Karaoke Contest although I'm aware that she won't be able to read this one.

Okay, so after a week full of anticipated release (refer to the singles I've said in one of my earlier posts), this week will have another big downloads for me. Yeah, although it may not be big for some, but for me, it's already this big because of my HDD problem.

And before I post my anticipated singles/albums this week, I'll display the result of the first-week sales of the last week's anticipated singles/albums:

singles:
ALI PROJECT (Senritsu no Kodomotachi, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ OP2) = #23 (4,845 copies sold)
savage genius (Watashi wo Mitsukete., Pandora Hearts ED2) = #85 (1,016 copies sold)

albums:
m.o.v.e (anim.o.v.e) = #19 (7,702 copies sold)
RYTHEM (Best Story) = #22 (6,939 copies sold)
Suara (Kizuna) = #45 (2,359 copies sold)

---------------

And the Oricon dailies for this week:

singles:
KOTOKO (daily-daily Dream, Hayate no Gotoku!! Second Season OP2) = 13→13
KOKIA (Transparent, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ ED2) = below top 50 (for two nights)
Sachi Tainaka (Unmeibito) = below top 50 (for two nights)

albums:
ALI PROJECT (Poison) = 14↑10
Yousei Teikoku (Gothic Lolita Doctrine) = 31↓39

---------------

For now, I'm listening to ALI PROJECT's Poison album and will make a review after a proper listen to all of the songs. But I'll be giving a hint that there's a high probability that I will give this album a high five rate because of the songs. I'm liking all of them and the album is much greater than their previous album Kinsho since most of the songs here in their new album are quite upbeat and experimental -- and they fitted.

I didn't know that betting a banana for a competition was good...

Having the daily-daily Dream single downloaded, nothing but bad images are coming out from my head while I wait for the PV to finish its download.

Truly granted, the single itself worthwhile to download especially upon marking Message as the "highest" priority. I should hear the coupling song first to know if the single will be saved by this one. And I was right. It was something... outstanding for a SORMA No.1 remix. A mixture of pop-rock to soft rock w/ some hints of punk-rock in the instrumental.

But what made this download a ridiculous one is the PV itself. I did not bothered myself uploading it on YouTube since I already saw two users uploaded it and so I'm just going to embed it.

I thought the CM/previews for the PV was really ridiculous but wait till you see the full one. It just started on a baseball showdown in which, the winner to be awarded with just one banana. Now that's kinda nonsense. Who wants to do that in the first place?

And in the end, KOTOKO wins but the referee (or umpire?) eats the banana so KOTOKO and her enemy, chased him out.

Oh my, what a ridiculous banana story.

STEAL! theme song credits

Not worth of an update but at least, we'll look forward to this one.

true eyes
lyrics: ask / composition: C.G mix / arrangement: C.G mix & Takeshi Hoshino

From the second CM preview of the game in its main website, I'm having a hunch, that one will be true eyes since it's the one also being played in the first CM preview. Anything could change for now but if ever my hunch is correct, then probably, I'll definitely look forward to it since it sounds good. Are we going to have a much better song now that Takeshi Hoshino is also in the arrangement credit? Are we gonna have another Kara no Tsubomi or something much greater? We'll find out that when the OP demo is out. And I'll keep it posted here when the time comes.

albums:
anim.o.v.e 01 - m.o.v.e @ #13

[2009.03.04] Kalafina - seventh heaven album review

Wow, I had all the time to make a review today! And I was already planning to make a review on this album after a week of its release but I was kinda busy w/ school life back then. And it is never too late to make a review, isn't it? :D

Seventh Heaven is the debut album of the J-pop group, Kalafina -- an all girl-group project by the famous musician, Yuki Kajiura -- and thus, makes her the over-all producer, composer, arranger, lyricist of this album. If you already have a background of what Kajiura's work has been way back (like her tandem w/ J-pop singer Chiaki Ishikawa to form the group and performed several songs for the famous anime series Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, and her BGM works for Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, .hack//series w/ the exemption of .hack//Roots since ALI PROJECT did the music scores for its OST of the said anime series), then probably you'll said to yourself, "Wow! It has been a while nee? This 44-y/o talented composer has done a lot since 1992!"

Exactly. This album has nothing but very much innovation of what Kajiura has done for almost 2 decades. And making this group, is very much of an advantage since Kalafina is composed of singers she had worked before (except for Hikaru and Maya) plus their voice are so fluid and it goes smoothly into your ears. And before I proceed to the review proper, for those who are not familiar w/ Kalafina, just like what I've said, it is composed of singers whom Kajiura worked before for making OST's for making anime. At the release of their 1st single oblivious, the group has only composed of:

Wakana Ootaki -- or much known as FictionJunction WAKANA
Keiko Kubota -- FictionJunction KEIKO

Their persona was, at first, hidden until the release of their 2nd single sprinter/ARIA, They were revealed and Kajiura has already recruited two more singers (by helding an Audition together w/ Sony Music way back May 2008) Hikaru and Maya, although the latter was just a "seasonal singer" and only appeared on their 2nd single.

And the final members of Kalafina are: Wakana (left in the pic above), Keiko (center) and Hikaru (right). Sorry for the long intro but the review proper will be after.

------

Just like what I've said, Seventh Heaven, is the debut album of Kalafina, which was released on March 4, 2009 together with their fourth single, Lacrimosa -- in turn was used as the 2nd ending theme for the anime series Kuroshitsuji. The album peaked at #8 in the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 12 weeks, selling a good 34,668 copies. The single contains 6 new songs including the 7th ending theme to the OVA series Kara no Kyoukai, which is the titular track, seventh heaven. And their 1st-3rd single, including all the other songs containing in those singles are also included! So if you wanted to try out this group, you better start off w/ this album. Try out the album here.

Tracklisting:

1. overture
2. oblivious (1st single - Kara no Kyoukai 1st ED)
3. love come down
4. Natsu no Ringo
5. fairytale (3rd single - Kara no Kyoukai 6th ED)
6. ARIA (2nd single - Kara no Kyoukai 4th ED)
7. Mata Kaze ga Tsuyoku Natta
8. Kizuato (contained in 1st single - Kara no Kyoukai 3rd ED)
9. serenato
10. Ongaku
11. Ashita no Keshiki
12. sprinter (2nd single - Kara no Kyoukai 5th ED)
13. Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Yuku (contained in 1st single - Kara no Kyoukai 2nd ED)
14. seventh heaven (Kara no Kyoukai 7th ED)

When I saw the album cover for the first time, it was so... black and elegant with those bright colors combined. I'd never thought those combination were really something appealing to the naked eye. Plus their outfit are very classy. But if you look into its content, it's very much broad really. Know why? Because the album itself explores many genres, as Kajiura herself is a music enthusiast. But of course, their main genre ethereal wave, is very much prominent with dark aura touches as well.

The album is also influential on the techno, rock, ballad side w/ ethereal wave combined in them. Starting off w/ an overture which serves as an intro to the album -- it lingers very much on the mid-dark sounding synthesizers which is some sort of a reminiscence of the sounds in their mini-album Re/oblivious, plus some faint voice provided by none other Wakana.

After that put-up-the-ethereal-mood intro, booms an ethereal techno track which is most probably the star of the album oblivious, since the said song/single is considered the Kalafina's most selling and successful single. Starts off w/ an eerie-sounding chant (in w/c of course, Kajiura provided), after a while Wakana's voice fills up the into the spotlight together w/ light electric guitar riffs and techno elements making it a danceable track. Wakana and Keiko's voice makes up a great combination especially on this song.

Right after the filling track comes another techno-filled song love come down, after lingering in the dark paradise of oblivious, which makes it a very refreshing track. I certainly recommend this track because of its light-sounding greatness. Plus, the violin and electric guitar (in some parts of the songs) are pure win. With the presence of the new singer Hikaru together w/ the veterans, Wakana and Keiko, it strongly fills up the techno-dance hunger.

What comes after the lively tracks are among the cheesy songs of the album entitled Natsu no Ringo follows up the memorable ethereal ballad fairytale and the dark-ambient midtempo ballad ARIA. I can't really say much about the first ballad track because I don't listen much to it as like the other ones -- I mean it's good but it's gotta be one of the most non-listened tracks because it doesn't sound strong. And like any album, this one's not perfect and it has this flaw.

While fairytale is very serene-sounding and flashes some sad memories, it is still worth listening because Keiko's voice is very attractive here although she has a really deep voice. Can you imagine that thee most prettiest girl of Kalafina having this deep voice?! But it surely is different and makes her unique in such a way, you'll really remember her. While ARIA is one of the interesting ballad among them, it brushes up on the dark side of the story because of the synths Kajiura used on arranging this song. Another factor is that the veterans Wakana and Keiko fills up the chanting process while new singer Hikaru provides the main vocal this time.

And after a pre-emptive ballad hunger, comes a noisy track Mata Kaze ga Tsuyoku Natta. I don't know why but I just realized that woman composers and arrangers a bit fond of making the electric guitar messy-sounding rather than the guys. :P But even though that's the case, the hard-rock attempt was quite successful because it still maintains the dark ethereal feel. The song itself sound "united" and a bit mysterious because of the strings of cello.

After a rock performance, comes downbeat songs again and one of the lovable ballads Kizuato and serenato. What I really like about these ballads are not because they're emotional and whatsoever but because you'll know that it's a "vocal talent" once you heard it. Especially Kizuato which I really felt the sorrowfulness of Wakana's voice when singing the track.

Then the last dark-techno song of the album comes with Ongaku which is kinda unexpected. I was kinda expecting it'll be some sorts of a capella song since it's Ongaku which means "Music". It's not just lively but it's very "speedy" meaning it's a bit faster than the first two techno tracks. And what I love about this song is that Keiko is the main vocal here!! o,o She seldomly gets the main vocal because of her deep voice but I'm glad they gave her a chance to do one, at least here in the album.

Ashita no Keshiki is one of their better ballads as well. Although it kinda portray a sad scenery of tomorrow but it's also a heartfelt piece. sprinter is another rock track from Kalafina and is also considered one of the star tracks of the album because they all sound united with the song because the rock goodness goes with their awesome voices. It's kinda dramatic in a way, but it's much more of a "gratitude" feel song.

And here we go to the last two tracks of the album which ranges from slow to midtempo ballad. And I have to admit that it took me A LOT of listening for me to appreciate these songs because I just realized it's a standard Yuki Kajiura trademark already. It's like no ballad equals boring. XD But really Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Yuku is also real vocal talent -- because even if the sounds are a bit faint, yet Wakana and Keiko's voice are the real highlights of the song. Same with seventh heaven -- although the difference is that Hikaru is with them plus the 1:43 part onwards of the song is indeed its strongest part because after a mediocre intro, Hikaru lightens up the 1:43 part while Wakana does the highest part of the song which sounds very lovely.

Overall, 5/5 -- although I did not really give this rating on first try but after a couple of tries, I've began to love the album. And even with flaws, it does deserve to have a high rating like this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and another masterpiece crafted by Yuki Kajiura.

Kyaah! I'm late for this Sachi Tainaka news! o_O

ZOMG!! I'm so late with the news!!! o_O Why didn't I look up when I had the time. Gomen nasai, Sachi-chan! T__T

But anyway, just wanted to share that Sachi-chan will actually release her 10th single (finally!) next week, August 26, 2009 together w/ the other releases I'm waiting for! Gyaaah~ it's been a while since you've released a single, really. It's almost a year after your release w/ Mata Ashita ne/code.

Btw, here's the details of the single:

運命人 (Unmeibito, lit. Destined Person)

3. 運命人 (instrumental)
4. RE:TRAIN (instrumental)

My comment on the song? It's sounds pretty good than her previous releases, I'd say. Although it's sounding pretty poppish but as long as it's good, I'm good with it as well. And the single cover -- it's a totally different image, really. I was kinda shocked! But I'm glad the BoA-look-a-like was already gone. o_o

And don't think the news is finished! After 3 weeks, Sachi will also release her 3rd album!!! Here's the details:

Destiny
Sachi Tainaka 3rd Album
GNCX-1007~8
2009.09.16 OUT

01 運命人 (Unmeibito)
02 さよならを言えばいいのに (Sayonara wo Ieba ii no ni)
03 誰にも言えない気持ち (Dare ni mo Ienai Kimochi)
04 夕映えのシネマ (Yuubae no Cinema)
05 守りたいもの (Mamoritai Mono)
06 もう キスされちゃった (Mou Kiss Sarechatta)
07 My HERO
08 code
09 Orange
10 また明日ね (Mata Ashita ne)

First Press Edition will also come w/ a 16-page mini-photobook!

I like the CD+DVD edition cover (2nd pic) because it's a bit "seductive" while the CD-only was kind of a mishap. o_o But the tracklisting looks a bit generic -- probably will contain some of her everlasting ballads, as usual -- but it's already a trademark from her because she works better with ballads but I hope not too generic ones. ;)

Mami for Shana OVA, I've Sound not for OP/ED themes for To Aru Railgun

Yay for this news! I was praying that Mami Kawada will do the theme song for Shakugan no Shana S and it did come true! I've Sound Database already confirmed this news! No title, credits and releasing date though but it is confirmed that it'll be Mami for both OP/ED songs and will come out in a single. :D More news will come up once some news will be revealed. ;D

On other news, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, the sort-of sequel to the I've-Sound-managed anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index, will still be managed by I've but through music production only (meaning the BGMs and not the OP/ED themes) in which Maiko Iuchi holds responsible once again. As for the OP/ED themes:

"only my railgun" by fripSide -- OP
"Dear my friend -Madaminu Mirai e-" by ELISA -- ED (yes!!! finally ELISA!!!)

As you can see, no I've on the theme songs but who knows? Maybe the 2nd OP/ED will another by Mami Kawada!!! XDDD *bricked* or anyone in the I've Sound group probably... AND I'M ALSO EXCITED FOR ELISA!!!! YAY!! AJKWQYBWJCYTWVDSUW I'll be reaching to you ELISA! =D

New layout (again), and more on ALI PROJECT news and late KOTOKO 4th album tracklist

Grr, it has been a few days when I can't do what I want because of the sudden slowdown of the internet connection but I think it has been restored and normal for now. *thank God*

And once again, I changed my layout since I, myself was a bit dissatisfied w/ the iframe layout that I made. I'll make a better layout next time.(For those reading this somewhere, I'm referring to my main blog in blogger).

Anyway, on other news, the TV size for ALI PROJECT's upcoming single Senritsu no Kodomotachi is now available for hearing purposes (in low quality though). I'm not saying I'm liking the song very much because it does sound quite different from their previous works. It sounded odd actually. Plus it'll be having a PV. YES you read it right. Although it won't be included in the single since it'll be released in a regular CD-only version (w/ no DVD). Even the PV itself is quite odd, if I may say. The full PV version is already out in the ALI PROJECT Official Fanclub but as you can see, this beggar cannot afford to be a member there so I'll have to wait until someone will post in YouTube so I can only see the PV. And good thing moichispa from last.fm upped the PV preview of the song.

I'm still not liking it very much and I don't know if my perception about the song will change once I got the long version. Hopefully, it's coupling song Hell's Maria will be a great song.

Even the lengths of the songs in Poison are now available c/o JBook.

1(4:39) Poisoner
2(4:53) 処女懐胎、あるいは白骨塔より少女達は飛翔する
3(4:53) お毒味LADY
4(4:28) 阿芙蓉寝台
5(4:35) 極色一代女
6(4:48) Animals on the Earth
7(4:38) 上海繚乱ロマンチカ
8(4:46) 世紀末ゲネシス
9(4:58) この國の向こうに
10(3:45) discipline

Not much long *misses long-length songs* but having almost all in 4:00+ already makes me happy at least it won't be that short. Album will still be out on 08/26.

And also their upcoming "untitled" 26th single is now available in pre-ordering in Neowing and HMV. I'm surprised it'll still be under the Lantis music company again (although going back to the MellowHead sublabel and not GloryHeaven). As usual, all lyric and vocal credit goes to Arika-sama (Arika Takarano) and composition/arrangement credit goes to Mikiya Katakura.

N/A

Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra OP Theme Song

And in a rather late news, the tracklisting to KOTOKO's upcoming 4th album Epsilon no Fune is now available on her Geneon Website. Oh, and also the dumb PV preview for the so-uncute daily-daily Dream!, is now available there. If you don't want to be dumbfounded, then skip the automatic play. Immediately stop when you heard the streaming PV started.

1. リアル鬼ごっこ (Real Onigokko)
2. BLAZE
3. ハヤテのごとく! (Hayate no Gotoku!)
4. scene
5. ε~Epsilon~
6. RI←SU→KU
7. -∞-DRIVE
8. HELLION
9. Geoglyphs
10. 雨とギター (Ame to Guitar)
11. モネラの絆 (MONERA no Kizuna)
12. 限界打破 (Genkai Daha)
13. LITTLE BABY NOTHING

I'm glad KOTOKO will now have her 4th album and the tracklisting sounds promising. Hopefully, this will make-up for some of her "mishaps" lately (which I'm aware that it's not her entire fault). Will post the credits for the song as soon as it become available. Scheduled to be released on October 14, 2009.

A few remarks on my hair

感情: a bit hesitant to post this
音楽: "over..." - K

Now that I think about it, it's been awhile since I last posted a pic of mine in this blog. XD I was actually lurking around facebook when I saw a familiar photo album that I know I actually attended. Yes, its the ADG (one of anime clans I joined) Christmas Party which was held last December 22, 2008 on one of my clanmate's house. It kinda reminds me of my awkwardly-looking "long" hair which I don't want to go back to~

Oh look I have no arms! ;D

Oh look there's my arm! :D

Well blow me down. It's also actually my hair style way back high school! o_o Looking at it makes me a bit embarrassed... *shrugs then hides in the closet* And I was supposed to go to the nearest hair cutter to have my hair cut 2 days earlier (at the photo's time) which is my birthday and because of very much excitement, nemmet I forgot to do so. D;

But after 2 weeks, when school days has been resumed, I actually got my hair cut in semi-bald. XD It doesn't really suit me but I undergo this haircut every once a year because when it grows, it looks good on me. XD Plus having a very short hair is cool on my head. XD

Am I recognizable with this hair style?!

And after 2 months....

Love that pepsi float!

I really liked my hair that time (pertaining to the photo above this) although to tell you the truth, I had a very heavy day that time that I boycotted my mock defense. :P And went to the outskirts of Manila to see my friends! XD

Anyway, if you are to ask me in which image that I like, I'd probably say the image "now" rather than in the past (not just in physical outlook but also emotional, spiritual etc.) because I'm a bit of a judging-a-book-by-its-cover kind of a character and a very introvert person that I really don't want to socialize with other people (it's a long story why I was like that in HS but I tell you, it has a reason).

And I can't actually say that I changed a lot right now than in the past, I'm still me but yeah, you could say that I'm more friendly, open-minded, sociable and patient kind of a person. XD

my present hair. As fresh as new. XD

And speaking of hair, my hair length is getting kinda long again but I don't know when will I get my next haircut. And I'm still deciding if I'll have it semi-bald again since it'll be 4 months again before my *ehem*. And I don't want to look like an emo-looking person just because of having a hair like in the previous pics (BUT I SWEAR MY STYLE'S NOT EMO! However, it's kinda "almost" especially if my bangs were placed in one location) when we have a group pic again.

Another reason that I see to have my hair semi-bald it's because it's kinda hot here just like summer but we're already in the rainy season here in the Philippines though. x_x But most likely, I'll just have it trimmed so that the once-a-year hair resolution is being followed. XD

platinum long version

感情: hungry as usual~ o.o
音楽: "platinum" - Mami Kawada

As promised, I will post the long version of platinum here. ^_^ And a download link as well so that everyone could share the love. =D

Powered by Podbean.com

And here's the download link. ^o^ It's 4:20 long~ And I was expecting a 5-min. track. =_=' Oh well, my views on the song haven't change -- it's sounding pretty good plus it has a part where Yuki-chan will really enjoy -- the heavy electric guitar and some violin part but the guitar was much more prominent on this part (2:43-3:10). Not as heavy as MELL's Bizarrerie Cage because it'll really destruct the song if it will be heavier. XD Well that's already a uniform move for Iuchi. Although this song is still not as good as snIpe, I'm really liking Mami's voice here. ^_^ Give it a listen!

And btw, this song is the opening theme to Candy Soft's latest eroge Mechamimi. Lyrics are still not up yet and I'm not in the mood to transcribe this. xP But I will update Mami's fansite once I got the right lyrics. ^_^

daily-daily Dream!! TV size (clearer ver.) plus new KOTOKO album

And so I am late for the news but I love every members of I've Sound, I'm still gonna post this one! xD

Powered by Podbean.com

This is the TV size of daily-daily Dream!! which is KOTOKO's 13th single and used as the 2nd OP theme for Hayate no Gotoku! Second Season. Not very powerful and denpatastic compared to Shichitenhakki Shijoushugi but it suits as the opening theme. But I just wished that C.G mix should've come up with a more stronger one. o_o

And finally, KOTOKO's upcoming 4th album (finally after almost 3 years) イプシロンの方舟 (Ipsilon no Fune, Ark of the Epsilon) will be released on October 14, 2009 which will contain the singles Real Onigokko, BLAZE and Hayate no Gotoku!. No further information but its catalog number would be GNCV-0014. Hopefully they would come up with some more better tracks since most of the I've girls' releases are majority disappointment.
