New layout and more ALI PROJECT album news

感情: hungry~
音楽: "北京LOVERS" - ALI PROJECT

First and foremost, I would like to introduce all of you to my 6th scenario, which is You Turn it Into Light. This layout is dedicated to my fave J-pop singer, ELISA and the title is based on one of Kalafina's song Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku. And this is my first "perfect" iframe layout I've done in my entire shitty life. XD Well that's because my other past iframe layouts are kinda incomplete because I have to make a hidden post for my friends, archives and others to exist unlike here, in just one click on one of the menus above, you can go directly w/o any difficulty. =D But I'm hungry right after I finished this layout and there's no food in the fridge. D;

In other news, ALI PROJECT's upcoming album Poison has more details than ever!! XD I'm too excited for this album just by seeing the album cover and promo pic! xD

ZOMG! Arika-sama! You're growing old backwards!!! D; I did not recognized you when I first saw this promo pic of yours!! xO I mean, you're already 45 and yet you can still boldly dress like that?! That is... way too amazing!! Raburabu the smexy bunny outfit. =D

Tracklisting:

2. 処女懐胎、あるいは白骨塔より少女達は飛翔する
3. お毒見LADY (Odokumi Lady; Poison-tasting Lady)
4. 阿芙蓉寝台 (Ahen Shendai; Opium Bed)
5. 極色一代女 (Gokushoku Ichidai Onna; Woman of a Colourful Lifetime)
6. Animals on the Earth

8. 世紀末ゲネシス (Seikimatsu Genesis; End of the Century Genesis)
9. この國の向こうに
10. discipline

Information courtesy of: Otome no Inori

Some are a bit confusing to romanize (especially the long titles) that's why I leave some of them alone for now. XD *bricked* But the tracklisting itself looks promising and as usual, even though Arika remarked it as one of the romantic songs that she wrote, we can't take out the dark lyrics surrounding it since they're already 8 years in the Black Alice phase. They rarely do White Alice songs as they are now.

Since it's already 07/30, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ episode 18 will aire later and I hope it's already OP change time. I'm already itching to hear the Senritsu no Kodomotachi TV size. D:

No credits for the songs though. But I'll update once they're all revealed. ^_^ I'm really hunching Kazuya Takase did the Spyglass. :D Of course, Shining stars bless credits still goes to Maiko Iuchi for the composition and arrangement, and KOTOKO and Kaorin did the lyrics. While Chasse credits goes to Kazuya Takase for the composition while Tomoyuki Nakazawa and Maiko Iuchi for the arrangement and as usual KOTOKO for the lyrics. Lemonade is just a re-arrangement of the レモネード song in the Short Circuit II album released years ago so still, credit goes to Kazuya Takase for the composition/arrangement while KOTOKO did the lyrics.

Will come in a regular CD-only edition and a limited CD+DVD edition in w/c the DVD will contain the PV for Spyglass (PV preview as seen on one of my posts).

P.S.: Yay for SPYGLASS!!! It's a 5-minute song! I miss long-length tracks from I've! ;D

And there goes the I've Sound Karaoke Contest

感情: excited and nervous at the same time!
音楽: "Tori no Uta" - Lia

I’ve Sound Blog First Annual Karaoke Competition

And so the contest already begins. And my song of choice was already revealed. :D I'm actually a bit regretful why my voice can only song a midtempo ballad or some sorts. I could've tried more trancey songs just like Re-sublimity, or even rockier songs just like Hishoku no Sora. But oh well, not all are "gifted" of such talented voice so I can't do anything to do change it but I have to admit, I enjoyed singing SHIFT -Sedai no Mukou- that's why I chose that as my piece for the contest.

Although not as upbeat as like the other participants are, I really believe that I just did the right stuff because I think of it in a sort of "balanced context". I mean, not all singles/albums are upbeat, rockin' or so. Some or most of it must contain a downbeat song to have that "balance".

Hmm don't think of this post as some sorts of campaigning because for those who are interesting in voting for the said contest, I'd like to emphasize that I just wanted you to vote for me if you think I deserve some of your vote. But if you think I don't, then it's alright. :D Vote for the rightful person who really did their best for the karaoke contest. I was thinking of voting for Naddie because I'm really liking her voice for the rendition of DROWNING. ;D

I don't usually vote myself when it comes to "tough" competitions like this. Even in my high school days when I ran as a candidate for Treasurer in the Student Body Council, I didn't vote for myself so don't ask why. XD

Shakugan no Shana OVA and 3rd series announced

感情: excited but a bit afraid
音楽: "Toki wo Kizamu Uta" - Lia

According to one of my sources, which is Anime News Network and 2chShakugan no Shana will be having an OVA which will be premiered on October 23, 2009 which will primarily focus on the background of the characters and their relationships with each other (more of like a continuation to the cheesy and dramatic Shakugan no Shana II). I wonder if Mami Kawada will do the insert song, opening or ending theme? I certainly wish she'll have a business with her long-time-attachment anime series, isn't it? Just like Nana Mizuki did w/ the Nanoha series (which she all did the opening themes, as in ALL). It would be great to look forward for another Love Planet Five single. Or the big question is, will I've be a part of this project? Or even on the planned 3rd season? We'll find out that in the next few months.

Still no specific date for the airing of 3rd season but according to the producer Nobuhiro Nakayama, it will the final installment for the said series and that made me a bit sad because after all, Shakugan no Shana has also a deep attachment to me because it's one of the first anime series that I've found, discovered and even recommended to some of my anime otaku friends. They better made this one better than the second installment because it was a bit boring for an action and adventure anime. And it'd be better if Mami will do the final opening themes (or even insert and ending themes, no?) for this one since she's the one who started banging the world with her epic-renowned opening theme Hishoku no Sora. Or maybe they could also give ELISA (one of) the ending theme/s. xD *bricked* Since I'm also loving ELISA now, it could be another opportunity for her to have tie-ins! =D

感情: bloated
音楽: "Birthday Song, Requiem" - Lia

SRSLY, KOTOKO you've been trying out rather weird things these days! Will you just look at daily-daily Dream single cover. OH CMON IT DOESN'T SUIT YOU. YOU LOOK HILARIOUS ZOMG. |D;;

daily-daily Dream single cover

But at least it's better than the U Make Ai Dream, ao-iconoclast/PIGEON-the green-ey'd monster single covers. Coupling song is not revelead yet and I can't say anything more than this but you'd better be sure it kicks ass! Okay, KOTOKO-chan? Ganbatte kudasai~! *waves white tissue w/ lots of sniffles*

Don't make Arika cry!

Don't make me cry!! D:

UWWAAAHHH!!!

|D;;

Why the hell do you have to move Senritsu no Kodomotachi's release date?! From July 22, 2009 to August 19, 2009? Nande nande? T~T Is it because the TV size is not up yet?! Whatever, as if I can do about it. ~_~ As long as you mean it this time.

Just when I already did the wiki page for the single last night. Hmph~ *rants*

I've in Budokan 2009 DVD cover up!

Upon vocalizing...

感情: slight headache
音楽: "Jewel of Kiss" - Hitomi Shimatani

...I got the chance to do a rendition of one of my fave Kalafina songs. xD It's a good thing it's a piano ballad that's why when I "cleaned" it using Audacity, the quality of the song was not very much affected. I practiced since I'll be participating to the I’ve Sound Blog First Annual Karaoke Competition.

Powered by Podbean.com

It's entitled "Gloria", the coupling song of their 4th single Lacrimosa. I know my singing voice is compared to a zombie so I'll be saying that listen at your own risk. xD But definitely, a product of hard work although my vocals need more practice. And as for my official entry for the said competition, you'll learn soon enough but Aibu already know what I'm singing. xD Although I'm not really sure if everyone's gonna like it because Aibu himself told me that it's not his personal favorite though. Oh well, this is just for fun and I cannot force myself to sing something I can't. xD *bricked*

But as a hint, I'm not singing any rock music. Because my voice is limited to that of a midtempo to slow ballad. xD Sorry if my vocals aren't very interesting but yeah, that's how it's supposed to be. -_-a

I'M FIT TO WORK! FTW! xD

感情: happy
音楽: "Sunao ni Narenai" - Mai Hoshimura

I may haven't opened this topic up in this blog but I'm very happy to know that I'm fit to work. So why am I bringing this up? Well nothing at all but despite having a dextroscoliosis, according to my X-ray result, the doctor said I'm fit to work!! xDD Yes I have a scoliosis but it won't stop me from looking for work. So where did all this shenanigan came from?

It started it out while I was applying work for SM as a Sales Utility Clerk -- and so I passed all the interviews and have my physical examinations including the X-ray. When I got the X-ray result, the doctor (in the SM clinic) told me that my scoliosis was not just a slight thoracic dextroscoliosis. She said it would be best that I should consult an orthopedic to check if it's already severe or whatever. And so I did the instructions and I went to an orthopedic -- and did another X-ray.

Awhile ago, I went back for the result of the second X-ray and he said, I'm fit for work! No problem and restrictions  at all! Although he said, even if it may not worsen, it won't be aligned straight (for the rest of my life). *bricked* Oh well, at least, it's over now.

I don't even know why the heck I got this dextroscoliosis since the 2nd doctor told me I didn't get that from carrying heavy bags on my childhood -- what's scary is that it's hereditary. o_O I actually asked my mother if they have some sort of disorder like that in their family and guess what? None! And what came as a surprise is that my grandma (on my father's side) has the same problem. -_-a

Oh well, as if I can do anything about it right now. I'm already on my 20's so my bones won't move even if I got my back braced. But at least, it's a relief for me. I thought I wouldn't be able to work because of this problem. =_='

Senritsu no Kodomotachi single cover up!

感情: my head aches a bit
音楽: "Free" - Fonogenico

戦慄の子供たち single cover

At last, the single cover for ALI PROJECT's upcoming single is now available via their one of their websites. :D I'm liking it more than their Jigoku no Mon single cover and I might get a more nicer scans for my next layout in my ALI PROJECT fanlisting. XDD By the way, here's the details:

Senritsu no Kodomotachi (戦慄の子供たち)
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ OP2
LASM-4020
2009.07.22 OUT

o1. Senritsu no Kodomotachi
02. Hell's Maria
03. Senritsu no Kodomotachi (Instrumental)
04. Hell's Maria (Instrumental)

If it isn't too obvious, the concept of the single may be derived from it's coupling song because she looks like Virgin Mary with her white outfit, hair and of course, with the rosary. I love how she looks in the cover!! =D I may not be correct but with the title, it's a bit too light for a Phantom tie-in. xD Although I'm aware that the senritsu word used here means "fear" or "horrible". Thus, the meaning of "Children of Fear" or "Horrible Children".

Hell's Maria is supposed to be dark rock just like their Kishi Otome (Rara Eve Shinseiki c/w song) with the title.

I still cannot say much since the TV version or previews are not present but I'm really liking the cover. From bad, ghastly and "scary" (?) image of Jigoku no Mon now turns out something gentler image? Now that's an unexpected change since OP themes are supposed to be more influential than the ED themes right? Who says OP themes should be more despicable ones than the ED themes? ALI PROJECT breaks from the usual tradition and the question is, will this get the attention or rather, shall it be done by the others as well? We'll see that in the future.

Kaori Utatsuki - Spyglass PV preview

感情: onakahetta~
音楽: "One small day" - Kaori Utatsuki

This is a 45 sec. preview for Kaori Utatsuki's PV for Spyglass, her first mini-album. As you see, I'm really liking the song that's why I have to post this one! I'm really hunching a Kazuya Takase production here because of the synths used especially in the last part of the preview. It sounded like the one's in all alone, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni c/w song.

I like the video because it's so sunny and Kaorin looks cute with the bandana. I was just a bit annoyed with the guitars -- just like in her Shining stars bless single because you can hardly hear guitar beats just from hearing the preview and yet you'll see her playing the guitar? I mean, what's the sense? -_-a

Kalafina addiction - ON-GOING! XD

感情: uberly spazzing over Kalafina!
音楽: "oblivious" - Kalafina

Sorry for the long absence. As you can see, I'm quite over busy lately with job application and my new blog layout (which will be finished very soon!) and with other graphical projects. XD But setting those aside, I'm moderately fine tonight because I'M UBERLY EXCITED W/ STORIA!! Not the single but the Oricon daily debut and guess what? It debuts at #10!! :DD Well if you ask me, they quite deserve the position because storia is a very different single from their previous ones. It has a tribal, provincial-aura plus the heavenly voice of our dearest Wakana, Keiko (my crush!! =D) and Hikaru. But composer Yuki Kajiura made a second attempt to neo-classical flavor with the coupling song lirica. And I just love how Kajiura-san put her effort on making these songs. They're quite lovable! XDD

And when I was just lurking in YouTube, looking for the storia PV, I stumbled upon a live version of oblivious, my Kalafina favorite song. *spazz* My eyes widen when the video started and was even more excited because I saw Hikaru!! Yes! Ever imagined why she's supposed to be not there? Because at the time of Kalafina's debut with the said song, it was only Wakana and Keiko and then I will see Hikaru in this live video?! Now, that's exciting!

I was shocked when I heard that she was the first to sing plus her falsetto effects for the intro choral part was pretty heavenly!! I'm lovin' it!! =D Wakana and Keiko's voices are just like in the original song! Wonderful. XDD They're even greater live than some other J-pop artists that I know!

Take a lookie here. xD

If you want to try the group for the first time (or even not? xD) and ask me for a recommendation on which song to try out first, it's got to be oblivious. xD It's so trancey, ethereal and heavenly all at the same time especially the intro. Want to try the song? Click here.

And here's the PV for storia. I love their outfit here!! xD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! xD
